Huawei introduced this as a multimedia consumption/ productivity device, a direct competitor to galaxy note..
You can only hope Huawei will design a compact phone for P series .. but I really doubt it as P series tends to focus on camera and in order to house bigger sensor, the phone form factor must be bigger.

For example, the 5g on the iphone 12 uses 20% more battery than when it uses 4g. Not even software optimization is enough to save battery. Also, smaller batteries degrade faster than larger batteries because they have a shorter charge cycle. This means that they will eventually reach the end of their lifespan sooner. Even Xiaomi acknowledges some of these points. I also read something about making smaller molds cost a lot and there isn't a huge marker for small phones. So as much as some of us want a compact android phone, it will be unlikely for manufacturers to do so.

Not saying it won't be an issue for everyone but I think a lot of it is either a lack of education, bad media reporting or assumptions.
I always thought I used Google a lot but actually when I looked at it I really don't. Only thing I really used was YouTube but Vanced is much better and working great.

Huawei lost Google Mobile Services and although they might be making massive strides forward with there Huawei Mobile Services the loss of Google Mobile Services in the UK Market is just too big which is a shame as these look like really solid phones.... I might be wrong but HMS seems like it would only do well in China.... there’s also the fact they will struggle to get new chips after they have used there stockpile

Shit, there is a big ugly black patch on screen upper left side. People are sick of these screens. We all hate this. Just buying a damage like screen at huge 1400 Euro..... Big Failure. Bye
