YUKI93, 22 Oct 2020I checked all the Mate 40 models spec and I got to be honest here - I'd rather take this ... moreIf that IP68 is not a typo, I'm impressed. However, I also hope lack of stereo speakers are also a typo because that would suck if that was left out.

You know what that means? No facial recognition nonsense here, and I am definitely happy with that.

You people are dead wrong every time and it's hilarious lol.

I checked all the Mate 40 models spec and I got to be honest here - I'd rather take this vanilla Mate 40. Usually in previous years, the vanilla model will only have an IP54 rating whereas the Pro would have the IP68 rating. But since Huawei started putting the IP68 rating on the vanilla model, I really don't see any reason to own the Pro models apart from the longer zoom telephoto camera. 3x zoom is definitely more than good enough for me.

P.S If the 3.5mm audio jack port really is available for the vanilla Mate 40, that's it - this will be the one for me to pick.

If you keep this thing offline it will do exactly what the designer had in mind for it - be a fancy dildo. Anything with a ccp soc is dead on arrival, hence why qualcomm has a market dominance (with android/linux) with samsungs exynos being 2nd.

No face unlock too. Still, it looks like a capable phone and a very pretty one at that.

Wow, without Google apps all these new releases are DOA? Huawei's future in the the smart phone world doesn't look very promising to say the least. And that includes their 5g networks, yikes! Trump really put the screws to Huawei, are they justified?

Mate 30 has wireless charging, pretty disappointed to see this phone not having wireless charging. The camera isn't even an huge improvement.
