Oneplus brand identic to consumer who wants high end phone but are price minded. People who buy a phone with snapdragon 400s chipset are those who sees phone as basic necessities. I don't think people in this segment shops for brands

E-WASTE, 23 Oct 2020It would be an informative write up if GSMARENA would look at whether the bill of materials of... moreSomehow I agree with you dude! From last year most of the phone companies are just wasting a lot of resources on entry level & mid range phones. They are launching new phones every week.
In past.. phone companies used to launch 2-4 phones per year. And now it's all about quantity. Just wasting resources on useless phones. And most of them I don't even see as value of money. Just E-waste garbage everywhere. I don't know when this quantity madness is going to stop!
Phone manufacturers may launch one or two good phones in every category every 6 months and can provide timely updates. But No.. they launch like 10 phones every month with garbage specification, garbage camera with ridiculous price tags! Xiaomi, vivo, oppo, realme, samsung etc and now oneplus on the way!
Apple with only 4 phones a year is great! And no charger for being environment friendly.. but at the same time giving USB Type-C to Lighting cable in the box.. that's enough to tell how much any phone manufacturer company cares about environment, resources, materials and E-waste!

How is it possible that OnePlus is not creating the hype. Like the case with Nord?

RC255, 22 Oct 2020The N100 wants to be no more than $200 really. N10 $299-349 since it seems to be similar to th... moreI agree. Usually a higher number denotes a better model. i.e. Samsung's A series A71 vs A51. The names should be reversed. Also, OnePlus should just drop the two 2MP cameras and use the money for better screens or better main camera sensors.

Stop releasing shitty phones, OnePlus. No one wants shitty phones. Just reduce price of your good phones and people will buy them.

Thank you for sharing your experience.
I was thinking about buying a Oneplus 7 pro, but I don't know if it would be the best option.

Price it $250 and we're good to go. There are much more better brands than OnePlus in China. Price it competitively.

Bouth those phones in every single way the s9 does not have a 90 hertz screen also the camera is better whith the one plus and the chooser is amazing you can not play games half as good in the s9 as the 7 pro also charging is amazing I think u should give it some more time

It would be an informative write up if GSMARENA would look at whether the bill of materials of all these mobile phones may be in low quantity in the next 10 or 20 years, cause it seems to me that by then when the next big thing in mobile tech comes along, these companies like SAMSUNG and the Chinese, will have few materials to work with.

They are just FLOODING the Earth with garbage tech. Entry level devices that ..

You know what maybe very poor nations still need them.

But can the LCD or OLED materials ever run out or are the infinite?

Apple BSed everyone on its reason for removing the charger, but you know what they have been doing a great lot by only launching under 6 mobile phones every year.

Another write up would be WHY SO MANY CELLULAR MOBILE DEVICES: a look at market demand for feature phones, entry level phones, mid range phones, high end phones and, sell your liver and kidney to get phones.
