Yeah yeah the Pro version looks like S7 ripoff 😂😂.. However the star of the show is the vanilla Mate 9. Bought for my wife back in 2017, surprised by its quality for the price. Built like a tank, big battery (4000mah, where on that time all competition put 3000+), excellent stereo speakers, great image quality from the camera, surpass all my Xperia flagship (Z5 & below). Love the 'Leica look' processing.
Its also the reason why I switch from Sony to Huawei (bought Honor 8 Pro for myself, identical camera quality). On that time Sony launch the abysmal X Performance. Now we both rocking Mate 20, and looking forward for Mate 40.

Still have my mate 9 .. still working fine .. really love the Leica color profile ..
Right now I'm still considering & doing some research whether to go back using Huawei or stay with LG for my next upgrade . . Hm
