I strongly disagree. Flagship phones have always been about providing the best hardware money can buy, they are not defined by their performance as much as by their hardware.

Yeah, seriously. Instead of flagship chips, maybe use almost-flagship chips. Not mid-rangers, but like snapdragon 850 or Kirin 985.

I grew up with the NES and loved playing video games for 20 years (1988-2008) so I understand being addicted to them. I realized video games is like work and can stress me out. It's similar to sports debate shows and social media. It gets people's blood pressure to rise.
Learning a new language or how to cook is way better than wasting time playing video games.

Good article. I am agree with author, 4 years ago buy $200 smartphone is difference than now. Nowadays about $200 you can have Snapdragon 732G and have good and thermal performance (poco x3 nfc)
But I think we nees to keep progress, maybe someday $200 can run ps4/ps5 games

Calculating power was always developed for business users until the first PlayStation and Xbox came along. Running a complex MS Excel or Access file still requires a Core I7 or I9, whereas browsing the web works fine on an I3.
Do we have real life graphs (no Antutu etc) that shows the daily difference between 765 and 865? I cannot imagine it is much.
