As usual, glass is glass, and glass breaks.
We need shaterproof, scratch proof glass made out of new innovative materials.
Only Chinese manufacturers can bring this kind of innovation.
Coming soon in the next 5 years.
"early indications are that the Ceramic Shield is more resistant to scratches as well"
What indications are those? I've heard nothing but the opposite from reviewers who had scratches on their screen in time to make it into the like 1 week review...

If it breaks, it's not a very good shield.

Dennan4, 26 Oct 2020We need to know the scratch resistance thoughWe've had the two - iPhone 12 & and iPhone 12 Pro - on top of each other, with the camera unit from the 12 resting on the screen of the 12 Pro - it's absolutely scratched to pieces. This video features a scratch test, but is missing Zack. Still, it shows that Ceramic Shield brushes off the level 6 pick and gets only minor scratches at level 7 (typical Gorilla Glass starts scratching at 6).
Android makers, copy this feature right away. Ceramic glass is way better than even victus, from what it looks like
This 12 series is really having us to reconsider not upgrading from our 11 Pro Max to an 12 Pro Max.
