With Qi pads, you just lift the phone. Here, you have to pull it off with some force. And I don't think doing it by the cable is a good idea. But only that is exposed unless you really lift it up and grab by the MagSafe case.

The whole point of Magsafe is that magnets stick to avoid misalignment which is a problem with wireless charging pads, if you stick Magsafe to a table it might not align your phone automatically (will have to wait for reviews) but it might protect from misalignment say if you bump into the table where as with pad charging your phone will easily be misaligned

When coils have minimal distance between them and are perfectly aligned, that's "100% efficiency OF wireless charging". It's as good as wireless can get. Pretending that I don't know wireless charging has loses just makes you look like you're grasping at straws real hard.

Also I don't think your magsafe gimmick will be a hit. Mag wallet easily detach in a pocket. Mag charger also causes wear friction. For Chinese OEM to copy magsafe, it needs to be a hit among iShéep first. I don't think it will pass the initial stage. But well, iShéep is iShéep so we never know

Some probably won't like this part. But I don't think it can work both ways. Maybe if you stick the MagSafe on a table using double sided tape. I wonder if phone would still align perfectly when placed on top.

We're talking about MagSafe charger here and its purpose and how some are saying "it's not working properly" which is absolute and total nonsense. Also that wallet thing was totally done "just because". They had all these magnets and someone had idea, lets make a wallet that attaches to it. I can do it without the wallet. Just place credit card under my case.

And you literally don't know what MagSafe is for. ... moreShould've just put magsafe on their wireless charger then since it also works/aligns with android phones, the wallet magsafe even detaches easily to be put on pockets as MKBHD demonstrated on his review. Its really just kind of a gimmick for accessory makers.
