Huawei do not understand what users' want/need.
They will enforce their way on their users. For example, bootloader locking.
I like their hardware, the Mate 20 Pro will be my last flagship I buy from them.

In China services such as Netflix, Facebook, Whatsapp, Google, Instagram, Wikipedia and Github are all banned. Those are just a few of the services from the West banned in China, meanwhile you all cry just because huawei got banned.

Information is scant, but my guess is that this HarmonyOS is going to make a debut as a beta in a dual-boot arrangement. With significant inroads Huawei has made in attracting developers to write for HMS, it's hard to see yet another transition except as a long-term prospect. (i.e. 5 year time frame)
