Usb 2.0.... some of us like to use the phone for lagless gaming on a monitor.

The one thing I don't like about Xiaomi phones is they have a lot of ads in their phone even when offline. I bought a Xiaomi a few years ago and it was the last time I've ever bought one.

Anonymous, 27 Oct 2020Who cares about cameras, they are not necessary in a phone 1 usable camera is more than good ... moreYeah, I also think 2 cameras are enough, 1 front and 1back. The point was that the k30 pro zoom is a similar price with better cameras. Both have numerous cameras anyway and both are heavy and bulky like nearly all Xiaomi phones released this year. In this case I'd prefer the one with the better cameras

ob, 27 Oct 2020I think it depends on how fast your usb transfer rate. If you just have 50mb/s usb then you wi... moreOb, thank you. Unfortunately with old USB, it often goes well under the stated maximum. Meaning on most machines all the time. 30 or so MB a second, maybe 40MB/s. There are hardware schemes around this. It still wasn't patched up in 3.9 but was better. FireWire and thunderbolt can work very close to maximum.

But the problem is, that Android is clunky, and it might even be 3MB/s, or 40MB/s, it depends. 40MB/s is useful for me.

Recording to internal flash can still be clunky, and night still be slow, or if stream lined, maybe a lot faster. But even at 40MB/s it fills up quickly, plus other things are using the bandwidth, and forcing writing to be random, can really slow flash down
It's unfortunate they don't include the latest USB 3.x or USB 4 and a complete streamlined transfer system through the filesystem and out the phone. I think ZTE talks about latest redmagic being streamlined, but I have not seen that verified yet.

[deleted post]Importing doesn't cost much.
I can get Mi 10 ultra in Europe at under 800 Euros with shipping.
This phone would hardly cost under 500 Euros after importing which is still a pretty good deal considering the high refresh rate and Snapdragon 865 along with a trusted brand like Mi.

Most people over here who are using Mi phones are crazy about EU Roms.
There is a whole network of third party sellers which have been selling Mi phones for a long time.

Aierlan, 27 Oct 2020Yeah, there actually selling the k30pro zoom 8gb 256gb version for 2,799 at the moment if pre-... moreWho cares about cameras, they are not necessary in a phone
1 usable camera is more than good enough, otherwise having 7 cameras :2in the front and 5 or 6 in th back will make the phone like a brick like most 2020 phones and will add atleast 200€ if not more even if they are not necessary for most of customers who don't need 7 or 5 or even 2 cameras
