The iPhone 12 pro is capable of doing 10 bit video but the screen itself is not 10-bit right? is only 8 bit showing 16million colors instead of 1 billion, which phone are currently out there with 10-bit color display other than the Oneplus 8 Pro, Oppo Find X2 Pro and the Mi 10 Ultra?

The SS frame is stiffer and stronger, but heavier than the Al. Apple should use Ti next time.

Ben, 31 Oct 2020Support for 5g is a good reason to upgrade. Why? What exactly does 5G bring to a phone currently? A split-second faster file download? 5G drains batteries and it brings nothing worthwhile I can see right now. Maybe when there are services that take advantage of the higher speeds in a year or two, or three, but for right now, it's a gimmick mostly.

Be smart if you try to act like one
Not to mention that ios is the main os for ipadOs that already have a lot of pro raw power apps like photoshop, affinity photos and to say those apps dont use the full potential of the a14 is childish

iPhone 12 pro has wonderful performance and high quality camera. There will be no need of separate cameras to people who have iPhone 12 pro . iPhone 12 pro is easy to keep in pocket . The size is not too small and not too big . And it has two charging way - you can charge by magnet charger and by adapter also . It has metallic back and fantastic screen . So , what are you waiting for go and buy iPhone 12 pro . If I would have Sufficient money to buy this phone I will definitely buy this iphone .

then ends with a sweeping statement that android is all fine and dandy.. lol. logic of android “use all 28648482 phone” vs iphone.

The entire OS is nothing but a handicapped feature lacking mess.
Marketing and brand value can definitely fool some people but not all.

Androids are true daily drivers when it comes to productivity, multitasking, full featured functionality, security and privacy in your own hands and just an overall workhorse. It's not handicapped like iOS devices.

By that time people will be drooling over the Snapdragon 875 based devices with much advanced Hardware and software.

Anonymous, 31 Oct 2020How can they fix throttling issue? It's hardware related like Exynos. iOS 13.7 was running pretty smooth on most games, but this was no longer the case in iOS 14.1. Remember the early build of iOS 13? It took Apple 3 months to get the software right again. I can confirm this in my iPhone 11. I’m also experiencing battery drain issues on iOS 14.1 eventhough the battery health is at 99%.

Yes, iPhone thermals are poor, but it’s also because of the software. I have already checked other users reviews and complaints. For example, an iPhone 8 user on Reddit mentioned COD Mobile was running ok on high graphics before iOS 14, but stuttered even on low graphics and had touchscreen jitters.

Early builds of iOS are always buggy, hence there is no need to rush into buying a new iPhone. Better wait at least 2 months after launch to be safe.

I read really interesting detections. Some people claim that even the SD865 + is faster than the A14. Really???

Why still can't even the most powerful Android device open EIS and HDR while recording 4K @ 60FPS video? Even the A13 is capable of recording 4K @ 60FPS with both HDR and EIS turned on. Even with two cameras at the same time. All other flagship Android devices turn off all other cameras. Why is that?

As for the A14; The guys have built a processor that can record 10 bit color depth HDR10 + and Dolby Vision active 4K @ 60FPS video.

So will the SD875 be able to do this? I do not think so.

When results don't go their way, they come up with their own custom benchmark.
I don't trust them at all.

I am simply going by real world performance in games like Genshin Impact where A14 throttled badly.
The chip is good but Apple cheapens out on cooling.
They could have very well added better cooling, but they are just lazy.
Sustained gaming is not iPhones Forte. There are dedicated gaming phones for the same.
