LG Superfan, 28 Oct 2020It might be 4G only or might have optional 5G unlike 865, other difference might be lower ISP,... moreHighly doubt Oppo would release a high end phone without 5g though. Nobody would buy it in their home market

Supus, 28 Oct 2020QC is in desperate mode then Google didn't choose 865, and less brands choose the 865+!Qualcomm won't really care about what Google does with the Pixels. They barely sell any of those and it doesn't make a big difference to Qualcomm.

Next year chip battle will be interesting

Oppo will be going overprice with this chip than the other brands who will use the sd 875 chip

And knowing oppo.. This will be not affordable.. Either end up in overpriced useless reno series or in find x lite edition series.

If only this chip would be 4G Only as there is still a huge market for non-5G phones, in fact the vast majority of peoples who buy phones today won't ever once use 5G before changing their phone in few years...
So, a simpler, cheaper SoC that allow for simpler and cheaper phones (thanks to no 5G antennas nor modem) would be great !

Hopefully, if this SoC debuts,it'll have WiFi 6 capacity.
