Because I cal... moreI don't see any other phone maker making phones with the camera prowess that is present in Huawei's phones. Not Samsung, not Sony and definitely not Apple. Huawei is the only company using RYYB sensors and has a 10x optical zoom periscope camera. And I don't see any other phone maker designing unique phones and innovating as hard as Huawei in the last 3 years. You do realise that Apple copied the square camera module from the Mate 20 series? It's a shame Apple is not able to copy the 66w wired charging and the 50w wireless as well. Apple still doesn't have reverse wireless charging that was already present in the Mate 20 Pro. Anyway, your Apple bias is obvious and Huawei has been leading at Smartphone innovations for the past 3 years whether you realise it or not. But I think you already know that.
I think the post author jumps to some conclusions and misses the obvious. First, the near-majority don't want a Huawei. Next, people who might want it, avoid it for one OR more reasons. Most likely all reasons.
So yes, bringing the price down and having access to GMS will gain the two groups of people, but bringing just one does not mean it will gaine one camp. it's just the first reason they don't want to buy the phone.

More Android devices are sold than iOS devices. It's fact.
More choices in the Android space than iOS space. It's fact.
iOS devices have greater profit margin. It's fact.
iOS devices are sold more in the US than other country. It's fact.

NotAnOpinion, 01 Nov 2020Wow! First, right on schedule, they censor my posts that has no vile words, etc.
2nd, Bahah... moreIt's not our problem that iOS is limited to one company.
Jokes on you pal.
The public at large (80%) has rejected Apple and want nothing to do with these money grabbing thugs.

2nd, Bahahaha, are you really comparing ONE COMPANY against TENS-OF-ANDROID manufactures?!
Wow! I'm sure if Apple bothered to tead from this site, they nust got a stiff one one!

Because I call out Huawei's (and Apple's too, e.g. still no 120hz refresh rate, no 4K display to view its leading 4K recording, etc.) BS for what is does not mean I do not appreciate some of their focused-attention products.
But, Huawei is not a consistent innovator, they just redefined on old products (except Huawei camera prowess) and make them better and clone others ideas and say that it "inspired them". No, that just stole someone's else hardwork and mask it with "we just wants to bring this tech to everybody" BUT with an outrageous premium price tag.
Huawei is not a known idenity.
When you think of tech pioneers, love or hate, they are known by their evolution, except Huawei.
Sony- consumer night vision - oddles of codecs, etc.
Samsung - oodles of breakthroughs in nand, etc.
Apple - iPod, AIFF / ALAC, etc.
Huawei - ??? - phone cameras that a great part of the world has never experienced?
[deleted post]The iPhone sales pale in comparison to Android phones.
If 80% prefer Android in the real world, then the same is reflected in polls.
Doesn't make them Anti apple.
Apple as a company doesn't take into consideration to what consumers want. This is why the polls were unsatisfactory and not in its favor.
Plenty of S-h-e-e-p-s ready to buy things blindly.
This is why 50% Apple users in USA didn't even know which model they were using.
[deleted post]I don't think GSMArena has your very obvious Pro-Apple/Anti-Huawei stance. I'm interested in what they have to say concerning all the results of their polls.
Why does GSM arena keep saying the p40 pro + is a China exclusive?
Currently £999 with free buds and case on the Huawei store. £ sterling is UK currency, not Chinese!!
If the P40 Pro + is there, then maybe the Mate Pro + will join it even though it isn't showing now.
Without pes2021 huawei is such waste.
Lancewood, 01 Nov 2020Yes you are the majority in the poll but not the majority of real buying public. Huawei can do... moreYou've pointed out the reality, but missed a part of it yourself!
A lot of the people that have chosen 'Will surely buy a Huawei Mate 40 Pro+' ,selected that option out of patriotism.
In reality, some of them would already have a recently bought Huawei phone, a lot of the 'patriots' might not be able to afford a $1000 phone, some might be gaming phone enthusiasts ( so Lenovo or Nubia as Huawei doesn't make gaming phones), some might end up buying a Xiaomi instead of a Huawei in the near future etc..
So, in the end, the poll pretty much shows the reality.
Is all the commentary necessary?
I mean there are the results of the pool, and it's enough. we dont need to read about it.
So basically this is "one picture a thousand words" situation 😅
How about the comments against Huawei? Unbelievable.
[deleted post]Yes you are the majority in the poll but not the majority of real buying public. Huawei can do well even in its own domestic market alone. China has 850 million mobile users. What is YOUR country's population?? HAHAHAHAHA.
At this time, no for huawei.
Best flagship 2020..
60% says yes, that's good
40 pro+ thx 👍🏻
Change the Leica become Zeiss
Change the EMUI become android one
I will consider to buy
