For this reason I stayed away from Chinese OnePlus 8/8T though mobiles looks very good specs wise.
Waiting for Samsung or Nokia to launch Snapdragon based 5G handset as by 2021 end, at least 1 or more Indian operators should launch 5G in India.
Many of us including me looking for non chinese brands, I have recently bought Samsung M51 though it costlier compare to chinese brands but no more chinese brands. This is the only way to fight against the virus country.
Anonymous, 29 Oct 2020Yeah totally agree with you wtf is wrong with people like whats the beneffits of an ips. I hav... moreSuper AMOLED Display burn in happens when the Display shows same image for much longer time.
like on my mobile I played a game regularly 4 hour for around 1 year.
after 1 year of playing the game I saw that the fire icon, medkit icon, jump icon, running icon, guns icon and map indicator is visible.
if anyone pressures too much on Display then this type of Display faces screen burn in issues but it also need prolonged usage.
Real winner here is BBK with total market share of 41%, excluding OnePlus. They almost take over half of the country. Crazy.
India brace yourself for more Exynos 9611 and macro/depth sensor action.

"vivo is maintaining third place as strong demand for Y-series phones delivered a 4% increase in shipments. Rival Realme also ..."
From when did Vivo and Realme become rivals?
It was damn obvious.
1. First and most important reason is there is no compitition at all for Samsung. Earlier there was biggest hurdle and that's Huawei. Yup, I kno Huawei wasn't as popular and selling as Samsung but no one can deny it was the fastest growing brand in India in 2017-18. Huawei+Honor. No Asus phones this year except Rog(only for gamers), Oneplus don't have flagship killers and their flagships hv so many issues and don't have good cameras. Oppo has ruined it's Reno and find series. And who'll pay premium for Xiaomi with 2mp sensors n no ip ratings. So compitition between Sammy n Apple only in premium category.
2. Samsung has reduced it's phones price dramatically. And they've launched galaxy forever plan. Under this u have to stick on Samsung for generations.
3. People are so pissed cos Xiaomi is not launching it's good devices in India(the country gv this company recognition) like Poco f2pro, mi note series, Redmi 10x n all. N just rebranding phones which is irritating. There is no excitement in Xiaomi phones like last year. Their last hope is Poco F2.
4. Last and least thing is patriotism.
Yup people were so angry and thinking to boycott everything from that country. For that Oppo cancelled it's find x2 Pro launch at last tym but look recently they launched so many products mny arrived before der home country.
Vivo saw breaking pre orders for v20 and x50 series was hit.
Yup I still feel bad whatever happened on borders but can't deny that only Chinese companies helped us with huge amounts.(TikTok, Xiaomi, Huawei, Vivo and Realme) in pandemic.
The big fail and shame for xiaomi and other chinese brands to give first place for overpriced samsung. Back to your roots xiaomi you are not that brand which could ask more money for your smartphones, the only reason you lost that 1st spot.
PetalPax, 29 Oct 2020Apple edged out OnePlus in INR 30,000 price bracket and in overall shipments, Samsung edged Xi... moreWell done. It's probably the correct way to deal with expansionist and epidemic.
The main factor is samsung does a great markwting and most indian people don't know about processor they only want big battery good screen and good camera and samsung provides all those things.Samsung surely does better marketing than other brands and people mainly prefer to but samsung due to that 6000mah battery cause most people use smartphone just for normal use
OwnFix3, 29 Oct 2020You should step out to the real world. Sometimes. True, I agree !
Also, I would like to add that even though many electronics are "Made in China", it is still better than buying products from Chinese companies directly.
Simple commonsense dictates that more revenue will go to China in the latter case.
Apple edged out OnePlus in INR 30,000 price bracket and in overall shipments, Samsung edged Xiaomi.
Looks like the average Indian buyer retaliated appropriately to the Chinese border aggression.
I love democracy and therefore I support India wholeheartedly.

with exycr@p and tons of bloatwares
samsung still suckkz 😐
considering the fact that they have worlds biggest factory in india, their products are still overpriced 👎
iOS Never Again, 29 Oct 2020The political weather that you talk about is mostly restricted to the news channels and mainst... moreThe fact Samsung is growing faster but the Chinese brands are still strong suggests that there are *some* people boycotting China, but only *some*?
Which would make sense if the political argument has a lot of awareness, but most people still want to just buy the best phone.
Samsung phones will also feel great new with those AMOLEDs even if a Realme or Xiaomi is faster, so people will happily recommend them to others.
