My brother had the OnePlus 5, for the money it was OK.
Imaging was pretty average on the OP5.

Next he bought the OnePlus 7 Pro, a nice phone at an OK price.
He said his next phone will not be a OnePlus, at the latest prices there are a lot of competing options.

HW specs are one thing and these tend faster than the fashion industry nowadays so personally I don't find this the most important thing to look at. A clean as possible OS is very useful and a guarantee for updates for years ahead is a must for me. In these fields OnePlus did better than many other manufacturers and if they want to keep their reputation that's what they should continue to do. They are a well established brand and I think they will do well in Europe with these models (and the Nord and the 8T).

Oxygen OS is (ahem) one plus, but otherwise this is just another value China phone without the value part.

Maybe it does business in the US, but even there I'd rather just get an A-series Samsung and not have to worry about my phone being caught in a geopolitical mess because of the company it came from.

The N100 Is awful for €200, a POCO X3 Is only €30 more and the Realme 7 costs €20 less and is far superior

OneMinus dropped the ball big time with this move. BBK (Oppo/Vivo/Realme) already offers plenty of phones such as these budget phones. There was no reason to tarnish the OnePlus brand with budget phones. OnePlus was always about offering flagship specs for lower prices. Then they went midrange, and now low-end. Diminished the appeal of the brand.

Dear GSM Arena. Why do you think the N100 doesn't have a high refresh rate display? Do you see anywhere that it doesn't? Could it be that it's a deliberate choice to not use it in marketing etc. Maybe because the chipset does not support 90 Hz in all user case scenarios? You're welcome :)

Ok,it is clear why that Pei dude left OP...competition will offer you the same(or better, almost certainly) for half the price. This is exactly what LG is doing for years now,and if that's OP's(BBK's) policy,to become insignificant player on the market
...kinda sad for Oneplus, once very promising new force on the market...
