Update brings REM sleep detection to original Amazfit GTR and GTS, improves GPS Comments

Been using my Amazfit 5 band for 6 months to track sleep and heartrate for a medical issue... 4 days ago, it just suddenly stopped tracking REM sleep,,, Can not find ANY help to turn it back on...The option does not even show anywhere in the app !?

The update for REM sleep detection may have included some improved overall sleep detection. I saw Deep Sleep numbers improve. I have always thought Deep Sleep was not being detected effectively.

On my GTR 42mm received a firmware update at 1.2.04, not 06, and no update to REM sleep phase detection... Wrote a message to Amazfit support, answer was that 1.2.06 is for other regions (arabic language regions, to memory) while my language (Italian) would receive 1.2.04 as correct version... But most important... They told only gtr 47mm version gets the REM detection, 42 "does not support now, sorry"... Does this makes any sense? What version have you received, any owners of a 42mm version here ?

The most recent GPS update on my Amazfit GTR actually broke it, not improved. I was running my usual circle on a running track, but when I looked at the GPS track it was waaaaay off. Beforre the update tracking wasn't perfect too, but It was much more accurate.

After this update, incoming call name is not showing. Only incoming call is displaying. And it hanged also. I did refactor settings then after its working fine

I did the firmware update this morning but for the life of me I can't see in the settings where you enable REM sleep detection..

The updated GTR now does not show any app alert... Doesnt wake if you watch him...you have manualy turn the screen on and doesnt sync the weather :(
