Gsmarena: pkease wake up.
120 dxomark score is very good for a phone without a telepoto camera which costs $700.
Dxomark just published that the $1300 Samsung note 20 ultra got also a 120 score eventhough it has many cameras.
We want to see your article on this "mediocre" score of this expensive phone as well.!
Gsmarena: stop discounting pixels phone!

And I explicitly acknowledged in the first sentence of my comment that the Pixel 5 clearly is not trying to be the best camera on the market. What I said was that calling a 120 rating "mediocre," as GSMArena did in their title for the post, is dumb. 120 is not mediocre. It is exceedingly good, even if it doesn't rank up with the best of the best.
So it's splitting hairs, except for the most camera-centric focused consumers.

This clowns rated lumia 1020 with 85 or sonething. I am still waiting to see a picture taken with todays phones that match the almost full blown camera quality pictures that 1020 took. Give us a brake and stop promoting a bunch of sellouts.

I always prefer some noise rather than a destroyed photo with no detail that looks like an oil painting. And of course true to life colors. I've seen camera samples from the phone and it has an amazing camera!

Shame for Pixel lineups to get ranked at 15th! If google can't deliver a masterpiece in camera, it would be better if they rebrand the name of the phone.

Really pleased with my Pixel 5. It's beats all the other phones I tried out for the types of pictures I take on a mobile phone. It's a worthwhile upgrade from my pixel 3 and well worth the $250 upgrade price (selling pixel 3 and free bose Qc35 II)

That is because they also consider preview (on viewfinder) but like any other pixel the image preview is not all that great when u compare it to post processed image.and not forget pixel 5 also could have scored less in zoom category. I think dxo should chage their way of scoring(it should be more specific)
