Got a couple of calls after IPhone 12 series launch from people thanking me for importing and delivering the MI 10 ultra at their doorstep.
All these guys were previously using Apple or Samsung flagships.

They wanted an upgrade, were disappointed with the Exynos inside Samsung and lackluster leaks of the iPhone 12. These folks seemed super happy with their decision to avoid Samsung and Apple this year. Plenty of them saved around Rs.40k by ditching weak iPhone 12 Pro Max.

IPhone performance has always been a joke.
Apple only knows how to design their CPUs with large cache to cheat on GeekBench.

Antutu is a compound benchmark which takes into account everything.
It's much better than GeekBench which judges cpu alone.

SD875 based smartphones will be twice as fast as A14 based iPhones if you take into account the thermal throttling on A14. Most Android flagships have adequate cooling to prevent such issues especially gaming phones.
On top of that, those SD875 based smartphones will be running a God-tier OS
              called Android.

A14 hype has already been smashed into pieces by the Snapdragon (The chipset of choice in the smartphone segment).

People do play hardcore games. If you want to play light games, one can do that even on a budget 200$ phone. No need to buy iPhone.
And all those games work even better on high refresh rate display with 240hz touch sampling rate which is present on major Android flagships in 2020. Even mid rangers have that.

                        Laptops aren't pocketable.
Portable consoles can be easily ported on Android with emulators.
Couple that with gaming accessories, one doesn't need a gaming portable.
There is no such thing on iPhone.

If somebody wants basic phone for opening apps, lighter tasks, no need to buy iPhone or expensive Android phones. And iPhones don't outperform Android in those tasks either.

Antutu scores are better for gaming, but tell me, who ACTUALLY plays hardcore games on a phone?

You're gonna be playing among us, minecraft, sometimes pokemon go, clash of clans, clash royale, etc. on your phone, all which run smoothly on a 5 year old iPad.

If you really need to hardcore game, there are laptops and portable consoles to use.

You mainly use your phone to scroll through net feeds, open apps, etc, which iPhones vastly outperform android(because it uses more CPU than GPU).
