Now I see why people pointed out its reminiscence to iPhone 12 in the previous teaser article: I didn't realise that it also has flat side frames and was only focusing on the camera bump shape. Gosh, I should've looked at the image more carefully.
Now let me say this - this is just straight up ridiculous and wrong in every conceivable way. Just because Apple goes backwards in terms of design language, that no way in hell means all other companies must follow them immediately and do the same thing as well.
There are many designs that became widespread because they are practical (e.g. Teardrop notch, earpiece + woofer dual speakers), but this is definitely NOT one of them, and if you copy such a design for the sake of copying getting a fame for it then you're absolutely pathetic.
I'm extremely disappointed with Huawei's move here, even after taking into account the fact that this design will be most likely adopted to their budget Honor series only.

Classic Chinese company tactics to steal designs with lower-end phones to make people downplay the significance of Apple. Not that it's entirely working but it's still a douchey move IMO.
