When you checked it, iOS will attempt to learn your charging habits and adapt to it past 80%
Anonymous, 04 Nov 2020iPhone doesn't know when you're going to wake up. It just charges to 100% as quick ... moreI admire your confidence. But you're just confidently wrong. And you'd know you're wrong if you actually held an iPhone in your hands in the last 2 years. The setting is under Settings -> Battery -> Battery Health -> Optimized Battery Charging and has been there since iOS 13. It learns from your charging habits to charge to 80%, then wait at that until it calculates it needs to charge again to reach 100% when you wake up and ready to go with 100% charged phone. Anonymous, 04 Nov 2020Charging the phone overnight kills the battery faster than 65wNo it doesn't. Because Apple is "dumb and has no innovation". Yet it's one if not the only phone makers that has charging to 80% and topping up before wake up time. Meaning it's literally charging under most ideal conditions. Slower charging and then waiting at 80% until user is suppose to wake up at which time it finishes at 100%.

Beethoven, 04 Nov 2020Indeed. apple have the slowest wireless charging 😂 their 15watt is equal to 5watts man how is ... morePeople mock Apple for slow charging, ignoring the fact majority of users charge their phone sover night which makes charge time irrelevant factor. Everyone is also ignoring the fact that iPhone users stick with devices for 5+ years mostly. Good luck using your phone at that age after charging it at 65W all the time...
If I'll have to anyway buy the 20W adapter, I may as well use the same instead of buying magsafe. It will be faster and more efficient

Iphone 12 with 2800mah take 3-4hours 😂

James Whister, 04 Nov 2020Does magsafe supports android devices?Yes they were supporting as seen in youtube reviews like in mkbhd

Like another post said, rich people have chargers everywhere. I have a charger at my desk at work, every room in my house and in my car, but I am not rich. I also use the slow chargers.
Anonymous, 04 Nov 2020It the 12 & 12 Pro takes 3 hours to charge by Magsafe, the 12 mini will take 4 hours.Indeed. apple have the slowest wireless charging 😂 their 15watt is equal to 5watts man how is this possible it take 3-4hour to fully charged 2800 battery 😂
James Whister, 04 Nov 2020Does magsafe supports android devices? It is using Qi wireless charging, so it still work on supported devices. Even some Android phone has better magnet than iPhone 12.
AnonD-955101, 04 Nov 2020I wonder one thing, since all the hardcore apple fans Preise iphone as a premium, luxury, busi... moreAll you need is a small battery case, or a small battery pack, to get thru a long day. Due to the side of the battery it fills fast. You do not not need to charge until full.
Plus like you said, these people are rich... (premium!). Wireless chargers are everywhere, in stores, in their cars, in their office, at their homes. They just slot it in, everywhere.
And keep in mind, these iPhone have nearly half the max capacity of other phones, and yet their battery rating is comparable to android in their size form factor. So basically, if you own a ip11 pro max, chances are, its comparable to other similar sized phone.
