"The specs sheet looks fiery with a 200W fast-charging solution, and yes, that pun was intended. We already have the Mi 10 Ultra that supports 120W charging over the wire and tops 40% of the battery in five minutes while reaching a full charge in 26 minutes. During our tests, we established the phone gets very hot and we have no reason to believe it won’t get hotter with a rumored 200W solution."
This is precisely the reason why I don't embrace super fast charging. Arun aka Mrwhosetheboss definitely got much sense when talking about it before.
sohail shafayat, 05 Nov 2020like it! everything should be 1000! 1000MP camera and at least 10 of them, 1000Ah battery, 100... more🤣🤣🤣🤣

MagicMonkeyBoy, 04 Nov 2020Personally I think Xiaomi is ahead of Huawei. By quite a considerable margin. I've had a ... moreXiaomi is definitely ahead.

Anonymous, 04 Nov 2020 with such impressive innovation + low price that they bring every time a device. people ... moreXiaomi Mi Max 2's screen was 80mm wide, what about today's monsters? hardly 70mm, even the largest Galaxy Note's screen is just 74mm wide. That was the point of Max series. Stretching through only one direction hardly makes some sense. Huawei Mate40 Pro is nearly 75mm wide, but if you minus the curved edge then it will be around 73mm. So Mi Max series still makes some sense.
Anonymous, 04 Nov 2020Definitely, 100% Everyone strives to improve, soon we must have 1 MW charging for the good.like it! everything should be 1000! 1000MP camera and at least 10 of them, 1000Ah battery, 1000W charger etc.
Mobilemaster, 04 Nov 2020Maybe. To be honest I never used a Xiaomi before, but I am using currently a Huawei, and it is... morebro you're alive! welcome back
tehyadro, 05 Nov 2020Maybe they will put two batteries and charge them via 100w each separately? They should do four 1400mah battery, charge at 50w each and get 5600mah total
I just got Xiaomi Mi 10T (simple, not Pro). Turbo charging is amazing. In about 40 minutes, charge full battery (from 9% to100%) - 5000 mAh battery.
If it comes to India, i am definitely going to buy it.

Aflal, 04 Nov 2020So Xiaomi is coming up with 200w charger even though they know about 120w charger issue which ... moreBattery degrades because of their charging cycle, not because they gets hot during charging. But if the battery get so hot during charging, it may affect other components especially the motherboard or SoC. Those can gets damaged from overheating that why you have throttling to ensure the components doesn't get too hot. If they pulled this off, they might have a solution like running the CPU to very low power mode during fast charging or proper insulation and heat dissipation.
why mix4 canceled in 2019?Here is the offical answear from xiaomi:
Under this circumstance, the release of a batch of high-end flagship products that everyone was looking forward to was also deliberately postponed. In recalling this decision, Lu Weibing said: “We believe that using transitional technology to support a flagship product is risky. From the perspective of product cycle, skip single-mode 5G and directly develop dual-mode 5G, which is more in line with Xiaomi Product strategy."
Facts have proved that this prediction is accurate. On September 20, 2019, Minister of Industry and Information Technology Miao Qi stated at the press conference of the State Council Information Office that starting from January 1, 2020, 5G terminals that apply for access to the network should in principle support independent and non-independent networking. This is what everyone calls "dual-mode 5G". Xiaomi's decision to cut off MIX4 has made this unborn product avoid the "short-lived" fate.
NotAnOpinion, 04 Nov 2020The answer is not a inferno charging solution that can toast cheese and melt to bread. A more ... moreLazy? It's actually really hard to develop new technologies. Your suggestion that companies are sandbagging on battery development is preposterous. Many parties are hard at work on it, since the first one to make a real breakthrough stands to make a ridiculous amount of money.
Mobilemaster, 04 Nov 2020Xiaomi will be the next Huawei, if the Huawei ban will not be cancelled. Xiaomi is getting bet... moreHuawei is only a bigger company but Xiaomi has more diverse products like scooter, appliances, iot devices,.etc. You can actually create a smart home with the available Xiaomi products.
