A more efficient power source is way overdue and that's needed rather than the very old traditional battery envelop.

Lazy tech companies also needs to reduce extreme power hungry displays power consumption without sacrificing performance while playing intense games, 2K/4K/8K viewing / video recording, etc.

Less power consumption = less strain on the SoC = less power usage for the power source = less need for an high-wattage nuclear reactor charger.

By quite a considerable margin. I've had a couple of xiaomi devices. And one Huawei device. Xiaomi in many areas have overtaken Huawei.

Me and my friend bought Huawei P30 Pro in same day. He's using bundled 40W charging for almost 2 years, me, 18W Lumia charger. Battery degradation is about same.

Xiaomi will be the next Huawei, if the Huawei ban will not be cancelled. Xiaomi is getting better every year. Of course they are not on par with Huawei yet, but in 2 years they could!

In this way, the flagship market was completely taken over by xiaomi.

I remember when i get first gen samsung galaxy note almost everyone mocks me about the phone size and so on because at that time they were using iphone 4 and similar small screen phones. However look what we came to today; most of the people using phones which have much more bigger screen than original note.

sohail shafayat, 04 Nov 2020why do we need a 200W charger?because why not ?
the technology needs to get improved every bit possible. if all companies said "ok guys for full charging 2 - 3 hours is decent we just stop there" then we all had to live by the side of power outlet or carry powerbanks.
For people working and using their phone constantly during day fast charging is incredibly important. Think about it you forget to plug your phone overnight and when you wake up it has 5 percent charge left; then this kind of fast charging is essential. Phone will be charged at least halfway until you get your clothes on and leave home.

i really hope xiaomi will include IP rating this time somehow. Because only main thing missing from mi 10 ultra was official IP rating. Also Mi 10 Ultra get hot with 120 watt charging but with good amount of heat dissipation when phone finishes charging it can easily get rid of all heat in matter of minutes. I really like to have mi mix flagship with 200 watt wired and new 80 watt wireless charging.

As usual keep Laughing at ultra fast charging technology

Keep complaining about battery degradation

Just like how people mocked phablets/large screen phones and look where we are now

And for all the people who keep saying its not about who does it first you are wrong..

Technology is moving so fast eventually being first will matter more 99% of the time
