Sony can easily resurrect the Xperia 10 Plus in 2023 and put at least 778G chipset. 7+ Gen 2 would be great since Sony always use latest chipset for their 10, 5, and 1 models, but that's on them to decide.
Dometalican, 07 Nov 2020If that's true, I wonder why Sony's website bothers to advertise it like we can buy ... moreThis is a great smartphone for business use and it is litter than the XperiaZ
Anonymous, 05 Nov 2020Anyway, this phone would cost between $450-500.

Reason S... moreI am waiting for Sony release a phone in this $400 - $800 (more precisely $550 - $750) pricerange. I don't like most of the colors of 2019 Xperias + I want a great camera (not features, just good hardware, big 1/1.7 or 1/1.28 sensor, proper HDR, decent low light performance), which is not a case with Xperia1/5.

SD750G = Sony Xperia 10 III plus
Scottm-dj, 05 Nov 2020What happened to the Xperia Pro? You know the only one that was going to support 5G in the US ... moreIt wasn't there decision not to support 5g it was the us government limiting it and wanting certain things there way as usual I understand why don't didn want to make a whole new system just for tht reason, and the Xperia pro is not marketed at the general public it is a device for the professional market ie television stations etc tht do live streamings of say a football game the device can sit on top of a professional camera and obtain the 5g signal to stream the game proffesionaly, so you probably never will see unless you work in some form of industry that can access that market 😅
Scottm-dj, 05 Nov 2020What happened to the Xperia Pro? You know the only one that was going to support 5G in the US ... moreI hope it will come soon as a replacement for my xperia 1ii, which doesn't have millimeter wave 5G, std 5G is working fine if you have the international 1ii.
is this available in india
If that's the case, then I should expect to see Xperia 10 iii (Mk3) with Snapdragon 690 5G chipset if Sony will keep using the Snapdragon 600 series chipset for the 10. Or maybe, they can make a vanilla Xperia 10 iii with Snapdragon 690 and Xperia 10 iii Plus with Snapdragon 765G chipset.

Not the final device.

But everything other I agree with. Be it a 6" screen. No bigger. Sony should return to the compact size market they used to have. I'm not buying a new phone because I'm waiting for sony to release some awesome mid-ranger they used to do. I had my Z1 compact for nearly 4 years, and now using XA2 for over 2. I'm ready to wait like one more yer before I switch to a new one.
Perhaps the time sony came out the phone, i've already prepared to change my poco f2 pro to m11. I hope sony can xover xiaomi to build a phone with xperia ui/design and xiaomi specs.
Anonymous, 05 Nov 2020This is a good decision, considering the premium price of Sony device...
Using a 4G chipset... moreas much as i want other manufacturers to follow suit, that is unlikely... unless more people buy xperia...
besides, it is easier for me to choose a phone because of diversity (at least xperia is different, if it is not true that smartphones, esp androids are really diverse)...
so it would still be great that manufacturers create their own path, hopefully different from each other, so that we can easilly choose what suits us...
it is okay if they push it forward...
but it might not sell much as their spec for midrangers are not "mass favorites"...
most people prefer high spec, low price...
they consider gg6 as gimmick for midrangers (even s20fe downgrades to lesser gen glass), ip certification, oled and that build quality became "subjective"...
thus flagship is the way to go, imo...
the shop where i got my 1ii, only sold 50% to that of 1ii sales... meaning, 1ii sells more than 10ii...
