Garbage!!!! Shouldve been Ryzen 4000 Series!!!
Ali Othman, 06 Nov 2020they should have went for a ryzen processor...Totally agree!
No Ryzen... Next
It's weird that some people can't comprehend the issue with comparing two products while one is almost two times the price of the other.
ericwang, 06 Nov 2020your laptop cost 710 dollars while this xiaomi laptop cost only 400 dollarsIt's $710 vs $470 ... This Xiaomi is crap compared to my Lenovo.
I suspect the Lenovo one will be cheaper in India too.
Read some review of the Lenovo IdeaPad 15 Ryzen 7 4700U laptop for good comparision.
This Xiaomi is trash!!!
I'm not trashing Xiaomi as my daily driver is POCO X3 & Mi Band 4.
ericwang, 06 Nov 2020your laptop cost 710 dollars while this xiaomi laptop cost only 400 dollarsThank you for explaining

Anonymous, 06 Nov 2020Bruh. You do know that this laptop is for "e-learning" and not "e-gaming".The Ryzen 7 4000 series aren't for gaming as the GPU is quite weak. It's for everyday uses.
I have the Ryzen 7 4700U in my laptop & it's not for gaming ... I use it for coding.

Bought this direct from Lenovo, with student discount, for ~$710 a few months ago.
IdeaPad isn't in the premium class but the build quality is quite good.
My IdeaPad will outperform this piece of crap from Xiaomi.
abigfanoftechs, 05 Nov 2020Rubbish & overpriced! Need at least a Ryzen 7 4600 series, 16GB RAM for that price.Bruh. You do know that this laptop is for "e-learning" and not "e-gaming".
[deleted post]Not a matter of price, they're targeting e-learning with this one. If it's just a cheaper version of an existing laptop then it should be named that, no?
L.O.R.D, 05 Nov 2020You come across as the kind of customer that would want a Mercedes at the cost of a Honda and ... moreLol Ryzen 7 3th gen laptop is 900$.
This is the rebrand Redmi Book (first generation),also in Chinese market it dont have i3 10100u version, the most close version is the one with i3 8145u,only cost 2999CNY(~400USD)currently,other intel vesion are 10210u+mx250 and 10510u+mx250(maybe it have some other SKUs)
The ryzen version of this notebook are using ryzen 3 series(3700u)
The newer Redmi Book II using 10th generation Intel and Ryzen 4 series
Amd soc would be much better choice, it's cheaper and deliver better experience. For saving money they maybe could implement 1gb not integrated graphic card. I would pay even 30$ more ( roughly 500$ ), for 2gb graphic card.
