We received different answers from everybody, their system is slow or no, the supervisor at the store has to figure out how to get the computer to work AND customer service takes 2.5 hours to upgrade 1 phone because someone is in the background coaching every single word to say to me which of course is different from what the store told me.
T Mobile needs to do better.

I went to upgrade 1 iPhone and 1 Samsung, per their promo on the website you could get iPhone 13 & Samsung Galaxy S21 "on us". When I went to do the upgrade another promo popped up and said if I wait until tomorrow I can get AirPods & Galaxy Buds2 also "on us".
So I did what any sane person would do. I waited for the next day. I was unable to find the free buds and pods promo but the phone promos were still there. Now I need you to understand that I read the fine print on both promos. Neither stated anything about trading in the phones. It read the only thing you had to do was be on Magenta MAX and turn in your phones. Yes you read correctly not trade in but turn in the phones.
So I made sure to at least click on that promo for each phone upgrade. Now not realizing that the trade in screen was a red flag I did what it said and it told me a trade in value. I thought that was just a SOP in their upgrade system.
I also put the order in for the buds and pods assumed the discount will show up on the bill as a credit in the monthly payment amount.
NOOOOOOO! Not what happened. I got a bill for $189 and some change which is a good $70 more than what we we already paying. I was told that the promotion was based on trade in values of the phones. So they are not going to fix the error in the billing but they will gives us a rebate on both the airpods and buds2. No offense but that is no acceptable. B
But don't worry I figured a work around to get what we want as we should have.

I've had 4 phone exchanges in 6 weeks. All Samsung. Can't send text messages, Can't call and be heard by the recipient of the call.
Select a contact to send a message and message is sent to another person instead of selected contact. I've spent 2 and 3 hours at a time calling customer service pleading for help with my phone issues.. Never get the same person twice.
Can't request a specific expert to call me back.
I've been lied too, had promises made to me that aren't kept and been sent to the local store twice for device changes and denied exchange either because expert on the phone had no authority to offer exchange or there were no notes on my account that any exchange was offered, and then I was kicked out of the store.
After nearly 2 months of communication with dozens of t mobile expert and more than a 100 hours of my time on the phone or on t mobile app with numberous experts I had enough.
Asked to return my devices and discontinue their service as it was quite clear they had no intention of fixing my problems, only stall stall stall for more time. My request was rejected to return device & discontinue service. So I had to go to local store leave my devices there and let them know I was no longer interested in their services. It sounds like a hard to believe story but I promise it's 100% true.
Switched last week to T-Mobile . Could not make a call all day. No bars, dropped calls. I am in a very large city near a tower! We went BACK to Verizon. It cost us money to switch back, but it is worth it.
T-Mobile HORRIBLE COMPANY !!!!! still waiting for my money & am going to the Better Business Bureau !! myself BE WARNED GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!!!!!

Switched yesterday from Verizon . Have not been able to make most of our calls. Dropped ,
No signal. We live in large city.this morning we we back to t mobile to fix problem, IT DID NOT FIX IT!!! We are now headed back to Verizon. Been with Verizon for 7 years, NO PROBLEMS. Before that ATT about 10+ years. NO PROBLEM T Mobile is TERRIBLE!!!!
I am an existing Sprint/T-mobile customer, and the ad on TV states that new and existing customers can upgrade to the iphone 13+ PLUS get 1 year of Apple TV+ ON THEM . It's not true. The iphone deal is a $600 credit towards the iphone and I got no mention of the free year of Apple+tv and only got free Galaxy phone...I've never had anything but iphones. This is FALSE ADVERTISING!!!!!

When I’m at work , which is according to the service map a very high area , I only get one bar, but in the same area service goes out completely, phone is completely dead no dial out, no text, and forget about any social media or streaming.
Never had these issues with Sprint, what am I paying for now?!?
Guess it’s time to move on after 30 years with Sprint, 3 months of T-Mobile and I’m DONE!!!

Then They got the CAT. I asked at the new TMobile if I purchased a CAT S62 Pro (It had an IR camera) if it would work. They said it would. It worked sort of until last week. After a couple visits and waits at the the local store they said down load the Tmobie ap. I did, then I got to talk to India, to two different folks. After a couple hours, they gave up. I got a call later saying my phone would not work on their system. My phone has gone from intermittent to no service. Two weeks ago for my benefit, phone calls were dropped and went to voice mail, which was now in Spanish. So I'm out $600 and going to Verison.
Okay. Here goes. I was a Sprint customer for years and was very happy with the service. Since the merger and since I was forced to be a T-Mobile customer, I've had some very difficult misleading conversations with customer service. I make a lot of conference calls. Sprint never charged me for those calls. The cost really adds up. I called T-Mobile to see if something could be worked out and they said sure! We'll stop billing you for those calls immediately. That never happened. My pay due date is the 24th of each month. I call in every month to make a payment arrangement for the 3rd of the following month. I am on social security disability. I never had to make payment arrangements with Sprint I just made the payment two weeks late and no problem. With T-Mobile I get threatening texts even though I have made an a payment arrangement. I called to ask that those threatening texts be stopped. That never happened though I was assured they would stop. Customer service is flat out lying to me. I wish I could sue.

Spri... moreI got tricked by t mobile also , sprint told me to go to the store to do a migration for 5 phones and t mobile tricked me into putting their. SIM card into my old phones and then call me few days after to pick up the new iPhone 13 and then proceed to tell me that I have to pay around three thousand to 4 thousand dollars if I want the phones . Sprint also told me that they would give me $800 dollars value for each phone now t mobile wants me to pay its false advertising and they had me in the store for hours it’s really bad
I agree T-MOBLIE CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS. I have been attempting to set up online account for over a month now. No one can assist in getting access to the online area.
My mind is blown by how many loops ive had to jump thru just upgrade my iphone 7 to a 13. Sprint and t-moblie arent supproting 3g anymore so YOU HAVE TO UPGRADE.
- First: I went to Apple store and bought a new iphone 13, but they cannot apply the offer to your purchase, so I had to take the new phone back and reactivate my old phone.
Second: went to a t-mobile store and they said they cannot give me the new iphone 13, that i have to call them to order it. I did that and the rep dumped a bunch tracking devices to the order and popsocket thing...the whole time she mumbled and i could barely understand her. I just kept saying, ALL I WANT IS THE PHONE/
THIRD: I get the phone and theres the trackers i dont want and the popsocket. I take the box to the t-mobile store and the guys there are like "they should have never sent you any of that" and explained i'd need to call customer service to return the trakcers AND THAT THEY COULDNT ACTIVATE THE PHONE cause its a family plan and i'm not a "delegate" and that the main account holder would have to call and add me as a delagate.
FORTH: I call customer support and they cancel the tracker insurance and sai thye have to send a return box for the trackers. i then try to have them activate the new phone which took 40 minutes then the person said to hold and never came back cause they didnt know what thtye were doing. I then called back and the girl and i got cutoff when she went to activate my phone.
....I'm literally without a phone now....just sitting here typing this....I'm losing a an antire day cause customer support is so bad.....I would run from this company....RRRRRRRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNN
I have been with Nextel/Sprint for 21 years. So I thought no biggy another merger. Well now the true colors come out forced to get a new phone because I have a old smartphone Galaxy S7 never had a problem with, they have NO "deals" for us but to get a crappie cheap smartphone or pay out my you know what. So I want to add a 3rd line for my kid and went to T-mobiles website great 3rd line free and I get to get a phone that is descent. NOPE I can't get that deal because I have sprint and even though they are working under separate entities have to change my number, but if I go to Verizon I could get pretty much the same deal (a little more)and keep my #. I think if I'm still consider a Sprint customer I should be able to get New customer deal at T-mobile and keep my #.
