The under... morePeople make so much drama like it's end of the world because we have to wear masks and FaceID is the only biometric on iPhones. It's inconvenience sometimes, but when I'm at home without the mask, it's everything back to most convenient authentication method ever. And I had phones with lightning fast fingerprint readers. I wouldn't mind dual option tho. FaceID and under display fingerprint reader. To be either used together for super security or as one or the other option.

Apple's face unlock is far superior to any other unlock method I've used. The under-display fingerprint scanners are an outright primitive alternative in my experience, so I don't know why anyone would care about under-display FS on the iPhone.

Not to mention the new A14X Bionic beastly that even crushes Intel's mobile i9xxx!
NEW SnaZZZdragon 875 - single-core 1,105 and a multi-core 3,512.
Perhaps, the SZD 875+ will be a better comparison in mid-2021. 😂

2x zoom = 1/3.4"
Pixel ultra wide is about 50% larger.
OP8 main cam is 1/2" , 30% larger than 1/2.55".

[deleted post]I haven't touched Samsung in years since they are absolutely and totally overpriced for trash software support they provide and since I'm European, I'm stuck with inferior Exynos. For same price as others get superior Snapdragon. And I just can't take a 700€ phone with Exynos that has a plastic back and Samsung considers it as "affordable". I'd rather just have iPhone XR for few more years then. At least it's not doing such lame excuses to cut costs. Where I don't mind plastic back on Realme 7 Pro. It's an actually cheap phone at some 300€. I can forgive it. Not on 700€ Samsung... And the regular Galaxy S models are just absurdly expensive and they're all Exynos. Maybe next year with new Exynos chipsets that are not as customized by Samsung. But I fear they'll charge even more for them because they'll actually perform better than their current trash.
Mediatek Dimensity based phones really aren't a bad option these days. The problem is more in Android itself than the actual physical phones.
