symbian fan, 06 Aug 2012Thats good news :-) nokia really can't wait to see nokia's first windows phone 8 dual core hd ... more"can't wait to see nokia's first windows phone 8 dual core hd screen 1gig ram and powerfull camera :-) - let android fans jealous.."
Don't follow you.. jealous of specs that most Android users take for granted anyway?? Hmm..
As I have stated elsewhere, Win 8 has the potential to be a game changer, if MS finally gets it right and does not deliver a faulty product. Android will loose market share towards the end of this year as both OS and Win 8 devices are released. I am really curious about Win 8, not that I am a great MS fan by any means, but it is likely to finally get a genuine notebook replacement with a Win 8 Tablet, and have that reconciled immediately with a Win 8 mobile phone. I would not bother to purchase a Android mobile such as SIII or even a new iPhone until Win 8 has prove to be great or a disappointment. If it is great, then Android devices are in a serious problem from a marketing perspective, and may in fact actually assist Win 8 in gaining market share, in the same way Apple actually assisted Android to gain market share. Really interesting times ahead and may be finally some decent software to match the hardware grunt.
I am bored using the android, need something different. Hope wp8 can give me different test.

Monty, 06 Aug 2012I have a gut feeling WP 8 will bring an end to the android.I hope you're right! :) they deserve it. Love the OS. If i would get a way too expensive Iphone 5 for free, i would sell it, and buy two WP8 Lumia phones. :D

A mobile device with no bluetooth or wifi direct picture transfert, and music transfert for that matter is quite unsmart.
Nobody beats Nokia in mobile phone when it comes to call quality, signal reception, camera, audio recording and the screen outdoor visibility. They have also have great build quality.
Im gonna replace my iPhone with Nokia windows phone, because I don't know why people love iPhone while it is outdated, apple are looting ur money, they only manufacture one divice in 2007 whic is still the same with all of their product why is their enlarge iPod touch (Ipad) called tablet???
Waiting for new Wp8 Lumia with Pureview and waterproof coating based on nano technology...
Anonymous, 06 Aug 2012Who cares about iPhone 5? Well, according to some projections, maybe 100 million people, inclu... moreMaybe I missed those figures on the web, 100 million?? what phone are you talking about? can't be the iPhone 5 thats not even availible yet so must be the iPhone 4. Here is a statement I pulled from a website called "Reuters"
Profits from the South Korean firm's telecoms division, announced on Friday, more than doubled from a year ago to a record 2.5 trillion won ($2.2 billion) and accounted for 60 percent of Samsung's total profit, offsetting a plunge in earnings from its bread-and-butter memory chips.
Shipments of smartphones jumped 44 percent from the preceding quarter to 27.8 million units, up nearly four times from a year ago, according to research firm Strategy Analytics.
Apple's iPhone sales shrank by 16 percent to 17.1 million units in the third quarter. Samsung had 23.8 percent of the global smartphone market in the third quarter, 9 points higher than Apple. Samsung's flagship Galaxy line of products is powered by Google's (GOOG.O) Android software.
So I think there is quite alot of people who is not quite so bored with Android yet.
In answer to your post that Samsung has copied the Iphone is absolutely not true, latest findings in the trail "Apple vs Samsung" has revealed that Samsung was busy with a design that looked almost identical to the iPhone in 2006, the iPhone was released in 2007. If anyone is folowing the Trail you should know this, but maybe you posted before this was revealed.
