The architecture of the chipsets might be same although in terms of pricing of the chipset, Dimensity wins over Exynos

This is brilliant by MediaTek. A 6nm chipset would really enhance the credibility of the brand before 5nm comes to effect.

Android Authority, 11 Nov 2020Are you from Europe? If yes then go for the K30 ultra as it might get EU ROM support. Not from Europe, but I'll be definitely considering that one, looks a bargain for $400

And seems that they are keeping the X1 core away for the next semester when they have better solutions.
Also, there are rumours that the top tier Exynos will have an X1 Core... So, how Mediatek might counter it?

                    snapdragon 865+ vs a exynos 7904
cpu wise tab a is very weak but manageable about 3x slower
gpu wise the compute power for tab a is 65 gflops
the tab s7 is 1350 gflops as you can see the enormous amount of difference

Most phones with Mediatek's soc doesn't include optical image stabilisation, problem doesn't come from the soc itself.
Just look at Oppo Reno 4 Pro and 4Z...power is very similar...
Differences is on camera setup and optical stabilisation...
When a phone costs 799€ and the other costs 379€, there are obviously some différences between both.

Electronic image stabilisation seems to be very good on Dimensity 1000+

Plus Mediatek includes hevc hardware encoding on mt6595 (old 32bits) when Qualcomm S805 wasn't able to (Mediatek keeps it on X serie but not on P serie).
The new Dimensity is able to record videos with multi-explosure (principe of HDR photography applied to video)...soc is theorically able to get better night video than competitors. I simply doubt OEM's camera softwares include it.

ex. my crap phone is running a carp exynos and my tablet, which runs on a cheap mediatek CPU and slower, BUT i play the same game with graphics really low
EXYNOS ONE lags alot and its making want to break it and the tablet which moves really smooth and NO LAG and this one is SLOWER BUT MORE BETTER
THAT PROVES THAT MEDIATEK IS BETTER THAN EXYNOS

Hey Mediatek make something more powerful please. Give us a product with arm X1 core and Mali G78, even with few cores. according to here https://www.cpu-monkey.com/en/cpu-samsung_exynos_990-1668 mali g77 MP11 can give 1126 gflops. so almost 100gflops per core. So i guess that G78 can give at least 110-120gflops
With Mediatek's pricing and Xiaomi / Realme etc implementations their chips and phones will sell like hot cakes.
