I really don't hope this become true.
I guess Huawei learn the lesson vs the fake hysterical orange guy.
Don't do this Huawei, i want real competition, not a US monopoly πŸ€žπŸ»πŸ€”

There is no logic for Huawei to do business with Qualcomm, since the American president is the one behind the economic blockades, it would be like a shot in the foot

US provided ZERO evidence that Huawei is spying. It was obvious since day 1 US was using dirty politics to destroy competition to US companies. Disgusting n despicable. Why China doesn’t ban Apple is beyond me.

Anyway, based on numerous chinese reports, it can be speculated that a deal will get finalized in the end.

So instead of arguing about something that hasn't taken place yet, let's just wait and see how things turn out, ok.

Anonymous, 11 Nov 2020And what's the point of your bs now? Where was the usa when you're claiming china w... moreYou think USA started a trade war because of Samsung (for whatever reason), qualcomm (a company that actually lost money out of this) and apple... but i am blind? To understand.... this days one does not even need a proper conspiracy fantasy that sound hilarious, and be in trend, he just needs to say something he tought at while playing tom and jerry at the oval "office". Why bother doing research when you can uselessly write in a comment section, right?

And remember, if it is true, ZTE were in the same situation before they were slap with an embargo. This will cripple Huawei more than ever if true.

Ask ZTE how did that work out for them after so many fines later.

AnonD-967070, 11 Nov 2020I hope Mr. Biden won't continue the trade war/national security ban on his watch.. The... moreThe trade war won't continue, but national security is a different matter and is not reliant on the president. National security is related to network equipment and government officials' phones. I assume what will happen is that Hauwei can sell its phones again in the US, but most countries with a high level of Security Intelligence won't allow Huawei 5G equipment. This includes Japan, Korea, Germany, and all English speaking countries, and Israel. But again, phones can still be sold there. Buying a Chinese phone is a private matter (unless you work in a sensitive government position), but it's different for the equipment responsible for connecting to evreyone's phones.

AnonD-967070, 11 Nov 2020What does chip retail and OEM means? It means that you can actually buy Intel i3-9100 CPU from Amazon in its own retail box, for example, but not a Snapdragon 865 chip. OEM = original equipment manufacturer, which would be Dell in the Intel case, for example, and Xiaomi in the Snapdragon case.

I hope Mr. Biden won't continue the trade war/national security ban on his watch..

The world (especially not the US) won't benefit from this war and it could in the end escalate to a physical war. What's going on here is actually pretty dangerous for global security.

These people still believes that the reason behind the banned was "security reasons". If that was the case why not include Oppo, OP, Xiaomi, etc?
Of course the main reason behind that nonsense banned was due to trade war. LoL

Anonymous, 11 Nov 2020I think they'd rather source from MediaTek than a US company like Qualcomm.I guess Huawei looks beyond home grown Company and they sees QUALCOMM as real changer for their chips problem. QUALCOMM is well known and their chips are second to none.
