IpsDisplay, 12 Nov 2020Except AMOLED displays are losing to lcd displays with higher refresh rates in battery life ... moreA 60Hz OLED is better than a 90Hz LCD. And the high refresh rate LCDs in this price range are fake anyways as they almost always resort to 60Hz even when you set the screen to the "90Hz" instead of the dynamic mode. And high refresh rate OLED is just on another level in terms of quality and the user experience. Also, the comparison to gaming monitors is invalid, those mobile screens aren't designed the same so they can't perform the same.

Flo, 12 Nov 2020This phone is too heavy and big and no google camera with dimensity chipset. NextIf you look at the dimensions it is not too large like Xiaomi phones. Example, width is 75mm height 162. ......

Check gsmarena's endurance test like the mi10tpro vs any high refresh rate Oled and it loses in battery life

Oled only has better battery life when showing black or low brightness not at high brightness

                So that's a misinformed point

Plus lcd is superior in terms of refresh rates why do you think gaming monitors are Lcd?

Anonymous, 12 Nov 2020I really dont understand the chinese fascination with rebranding phones and then "releasi... moreBecause its easier to rebrand a phone than make people aware of your new series which people and most rebrands are based on which market have which popular series different markets have different popular phones, like in my country Huawei usually rebrands it P smart series to one on Y series because Y series sell lot and similarly Redmi Note series is more sold here than Xiaomi so there are more Redmis same with Realme, Realme 7 series is known globally so it's better to rebrand and make a phone part of this series than launch a new series that will also compete in the same price category

Just check most Android oems and you'll see all of them do the same thing
Heck even Apple did it, but they changed some of the internals

I don't understand why these budget smartphones OEMs do not add AMOLED displays, and rather go for some cheapy LCD "90 Hz" refresh rate panels.
I mean what sort lifeless mobile gaming community is motivating them to do so. AMOLED displays are so useful for AOD naughtifications and better battery life, the depth of blacks is so satisfying.

why didn't they release the 64MP one for global?
then people would have considered it as a better one.
