Luthfor, 12 Nov 2020Whats next? 250w?than 500w? Why? Is it necessary? Yes its necessary, thats how technology evolves itself. If they didn't test new things, we would have been using Motorola phones which needs to be charges for straight 12 hours to do calling of an hour.

JDK, 13 Nov 2020Doogee anybody? See! DroidBoizz don't check their claims. inside sheeps' mind:
125w charging brick 'included in the box' = gimmick, useless feature, time bomb, etc.
20w charging brick 'sold separately to reduce e-waste'(LOL) = innovative, brilliant move, eco-friendly(LOL), apple being brave!, etc.

See why even people buy no-name brands like Doogee?
They don't have loose screws in their heads apparently (compared to hyphone users)

faster charging, better camera, and display not having i hole in your display, etc
are all more important to me than any of the things that matter for you so maybe just maybe they know their audience better than you do.
as i will buy a new phone next year.

Oppo is the true pioneer in fast charging technology.
It will have true 125W unlike Xiaomi which claims to be 120W but in reality is around 80W.
Oppo solution keeps battery Temps coolest among all fast charging standards including other ancient 18W chargers.

Tbh this pattern will continue for years. Smartphones have improved so much that the only thing companies can do is to keep on improving what is already existing, like cameras, displays, charging speed. Foldable phones are interesting tho, and will be likely be more mainstream in the following years.

We are stuck with large rectangular slabs. No brand is innovating, everyone's just after numbers. To be honest, I've changed some 40 - 50 phones in the last 5 to 6 years. It took me an hour or so to remove my old devices accesses on Amazon. I'm just bored of the current trends like stuffing multiple cameras, big displays, glass backs, sealed batteries, limited software support, and of course the same design. I would be happy if compact smartphones with Qwerty keyboard or Sliders are back in the market with removable batteries and different form factors. I am not going to get a new phone anytime soon till then
