I am hesitant in upgrading mine cause so many users are getting certain issues. I think waiting till the initial bugs are fixed is the best route.

If you watch Louis Rossman videos, you will know Big Sur further takes away your right to ownership of the apps you buy.

Anonymous, 14 Nov 2020I've used Mac os and it isn't user friendly and it is very childish looking.I apologise for the fact that I assumed that you've never used Mac before, but I respectfully disagree with your opinion. The settings menu is still a fragmented mess after 5 years of refinement and update and IMO inconsistent UI elements/colour pallets make it both visually unpleasing and hard to navigate.

Nick Tagataka, 13 Nov 2020For casual users I can guarantee you that MacOS is far easier to use.At the end of the day, Windows is the OS of choice on PC platform.
Most casual users will look at you like a ghost when you mention Mac OS to them.
But they are well versed with Windows as most of them have grown up with it.

I love it so much that I can't go back to Windows anymore. I still don't like Apple iphones though. It's going to be Android for life.

They are already using Windows and are familiar with it.. There is no impetus in downgrading to MacOS.

Thats why i say, it doesn't matter, MacOS can run everything, so whatever benefits Windows, a Mac user can have it. and egpu allows them to game if they need to.

The problem is now transition to Arm, so the above is not true anymore. Until microsoft decided to provide arm windows and its compatibility with x86 / x64 bit, like what you see in the surface Pro X.

But just like Office for Mac, Windows UWP project, they Will always make for Mac, because they can't ignore the Mac market. The loser will always bend over, and give in. Same with their move from Windows Phone to Android.

"And on top of that, you can configure beast like this to 2TB storage / 16GB.. not much laptop on the market allows you to build to such specs and deliver to your doorstep."

XPS, Thinkpad, Latitude, Precision would like to have a word with you. Please stop embarrasing yourself. It's ok if you like Macs, but dont act like they are the only good product out there (and calling them "good" is an overstatement, after the disaster of the butterfly keyboard).

That's like saying Windows is better because it can run X quantity of games while MacOS cant. Aside from that, there's no need to go MacOs to run all IDE's in the world. You can have a pretty dual boot Windows/Linux solution and bang, done.

Apple managed to slip in that "faster at 10W" part and nobody payed attention to it in the presentation.
Now everybody repeats like a parrot "faster than Intel, faster than Intel".
All the claims are misleading, they talk specifically against the 10W part.
