Finally off the iPhone treadmill after 10 years. Apple's products have increased in price by 500% in that period. I'm out. Now using a cheap $59 crappy phone from Woolworths for the basics and keeping all my valuable data on a $499 iPad!
Do I think iPhones are good phones? Yes.
Do I think they are good value for money? No.
If pushed, I would buy the 64GB SE (2nd Gen) from Dick Smith (Kogan) for AUD $659.

I don't want a phone without a headphone jack, without an always on display, without Bluetooth file sharing, without support for MP3 files, without a fingerprint scanner, without NFC for file sharing, without expandable memory, and with a huge unibrow notch that costs 800 euro for the smallest one, and near 1400 euro for the so called large pro model. Lmao you must be either a die hard fan or just ignorant.

The prices for other countries usual include VAT (or their version of it) and a longer warranty (here in Australia it is two years).
Then we also have the Apple Tax ; )

Insane prices for both phones. I expected the mini to be more like 599 euro. Not around 800 euro. That is really absurd but more or less all phones are priced way too high. I paid 599 euro for an iPhone 6 in 2015 which I still have but these prices are ridiculous for a neutral phone nerd. And the iPhone doesn't even have more features than a 200 euro Android phone.
