James, 15 Nov 2020Come on Motorola.. add Amoled display..even if it means increasing the price So that would kill the idea of the moto g being affordable good phones with some lesser features, if you want an amoled for higher price then get a different phone.

I got a Moto G9 power and it's been a great phone for me. The long battery life has been awesome. This phone has everything i needed at an affordable price. Unless you have to have 5G now, which doesn't have all the kinks out yet, the G9 power is a great phone to check out.

InternetUser, 15 Nov 2020It seems Motorola phones don't have Gorilla glass. They mostly use Panda King Glass. Though I use additional tempered glass, so I couldn't care less about the type of glad that they use

Honestly, I think they lowered the resolution as they were aiming for longer battery life while making a bigger screen to follow the trend of larger devices. That said, I really find it odd that, compared to the G8 Power, you're not actually getting much to consider upgrading to the 9th generation. I wonder if they get the formula right for G10 Power...

€300 for a premium midrange phone with 5G chipset and near-stock UI with no built-in ads? Are you watching this, Xiaomi? This is a premium midrange smartphone done right. At this point, I see absolutely no reason to even consider the Poco X3 on my list.

Well I have the G7 power and it's ok. Low specs but does everything I need. So nothing wrong with the G9 power. It's got the biggest battery ever and a massive screen. The low res isn't noticeable unless you pixel peep and stare at it right up close. The extra cameras are not necessary. You don't use the tele much anyways. And the ultra wide is distorted and perspective off so it's mostly gimmicky. One good camera is enough. I compare my low specs single camera G7 pics to my buddy's iPhone 12 max pro pics and my pics blow his outta water most of the time because his composition is poor and he can't hold his phone steady. So no need to chase specs people. This G9 Power is a battery beast and it's a great buy. Hands down.

Moto G 5g here (apart from the stupid Google button I am going to rip the button out)

not best spec but has full 5g band support for 90% of the usable 5g bands in the future for when 4g bands get migrated to 5g this is eu zone so we don't have a limited scope on what phones we have to get , for usa well buy what ever phone works for you

The G9 Power is also a total downgrade compared to the G8 Power. Lower resolution display, weaker processor, doubling down on the useless depth/macro sensor while axing the useful lenses, no stereo speakers...
It has a bigger battery (by 1Ah) and NFC, but the G8P already boasted "up to 3 days" battery life.
