Can anyone tell what's wrong HMD? They aren't getting manufacturers or what?
Juan, 17 Nov 2020Why nokia why are you doing this things, every time weak chipset atlest you guys should put SD7... moreLol, you clearly miss out on the 8.3 5G.
"The Nokia 7.3 5G is supposed to run on the Snapdragon 690 chipset and to have a 48MP quad camera on the back. The Nokia 6.3 is said to be virtually the same phone sans the Qualcomm platform which will be LTE only for markets where 5G has not yet arrived."
Sounds like a wise idea to me, 7-series if you want 5G and 6-series if you are still okay with 4G. Really cannot wait for it. As for the 9.3/10 PureView, come on HMD Nokia - we are still kept waiting for it for like... ages now.
zcret, 16 Nov 2020Phones must now launch with Android 11 or they shouldn't launch at allYeah well said .with Android 11 because nokia mobiles nowadays are available after 3-6 months after their launch .that means in summer 2021all these mobiles will be available
Big Delay killing Nokia Learn from Chinese brand
Nokia fan, 17 Nov 2020Nokia phone shipped with Android 10 now, get only one Android version update. Android 11 is a ... moreI have already saw this since Nokia 8 were launched; launched with Nougat (7) when Oreo was already used in several new-released phone, just so that they could fulfill their promise to 'fast Android upgrade' (and A year Android updates, instead of the 'advertised' 2 years, since they 'purposefully flashed outdated Android version).
I know this because I owned Nokia 8 (Ta-1004) and feel betrayed by this scheme.
Not to mention it couldn't be a gaming phone as it gets hot fast (unlike my V30 which has the same SD835 but stay warm even under long gaming session)
Nokia its too late ,Market was already been swolled by other brands
AnonD-763241, 16 Nov 2020Still no sd 690 phones....so no problems for nokia 7.3....but can't say about 9.3Why bother?
No way SD690 will be more powerful that SD7xx line-up.
QC 'power' lies in their GPU; CPU, ALL SoC designers are using the same Cortex A7x, so no real difference over others (except, if they truly use Cortex X1, but the upcoming Exynos flagship might also use it).
In short, since SD670/675 are not getting much attention after SD7xx line-up introduced, so SD690 will be the same; good CPU but weak GPU.
The last great SD6xx line-up is SD660, period.
Proof? See how many mid-range phone nowadays uses SD710, 730, 765?
With how popular SD7xx are, QC even releases more of the same SoC with a 'bit' overclock (SD712, 732, 768) instead of designing good SoC that could rival Dimensity 820 which is already at SD855 level in CPU (GPU-wise still at Adreno 620 level, though)

Original Nokia brand is dead in the year 2014. When microsoft windows buying nokia.
We wait for this Nokia 7.3 smarthphone about seven month.
But I am decided to buying Micromax in noteB
as long as its on Android One program, Nokia will be again my next phone to purchase..
HMD (so called Nokia), your grave is deep enough. Don't dig anymore. Come on...
Nokia unfortunately is no longer Nokia, different company they no longer have their eye on the ball. Great Shame. Wish they could go back to the good old days.
I totally agree! I am fully disappointed by this cr*p sh*tty hmd. I ve been a hardcore Nokia fan for so many years, since Symbian came to life. But after Nokia's failure I've gone to Sony. I would never buy hmd phone. Even if it has a nokia scratch on it.
Anonymous, 16 Nov 2020Exactly. If the price is around $600 with SD865 then it would be worth it to some people.Yeah I think that's true.
HMD might be using the Nokia name, but they keep letting Nokia phones down with Cheap Chips being used all the time, that is Why the Nokia name will never compete with Samsung or Apple,if we had a Nokia phone with the New Snapdragon 875 then HMD will then be showing they do want to compete in the Premium phone market instead of the Budget market
