SupaSiblings, 28 Dec 2020You said 15w, now 10w? Hypocrite in a nutshell ??? Go and read my comment on page 3.
'Linus's measurement wasnt soc powerdraw, it was total powerdraw from the wall. Go watch it again. Anandtech writer estimated 20-24 as his best guess. M1 in laptops where soc powerdraw is easy to measure used 8-11w. What i get from all that is at lower watt like 10w m1 is more efficient than anything else. 4800u is more efficent at 25w.'
And your reply was 'at 18w too’. Then i asked for proof. Blind much?
SupaSiblings, 21 Dec 2020I'm tired of your crappy #### arguments, You don't even give an argument, and than y... moreCome on, you dont need to stoop to name calling just because you couldnt get proof. But then again, i didnt expect much from you. So after fake, unfair, optimization, now its crappy? Lolol.
Do tell me what 'optimization' did apple do on cinebench thats 'unfair'. Can you show me which lines of code it is or something? Or maybe its a specific hardware block?
Something as basic as fairness, you conveniently forgot about it in the beginning. Only remembered after you couldnt find proof for your bs.
Also, what do you mean i gave no argument? I did say m1 performed better at 10w, and 4800u at 25w. But you said at 18w too it was better. I just asked for proof for those.
Yes, you gave zero proof for any of your 'arguments'.
Mediatek sux, 18 Dec 2020I didnt say you are wrong though, just asked for proof. Since my proof is all 'fake'... moreI'm tired of your crappy #### arguments, You don't even give an argument, and than you say there's nothing to say, Maybeeee because YOU are the one that is so dumb and chappy that you cant think of arguments?
SupaSiblings, 19 Dec 2020No it wasn't all fair till you asked me,Did you forget to read this part 'Why did you not use this at the start?'
Noone else is making anything on arm close to m1 right now, atleast on laptops. Theres only one thing to compare, but you just keep on calling it 'unfair' as if apple is doing some magic on cinebench. No, nowhere did i call you wrong. Still unable to find proof, i see. Without proof how different is your statement from random bs? Since my proof is all fake, i ask the wise and knowledgable you to provide it. But you just keep on blabbering 'optimizations', 'fake', 'unfair', etc.
SupaSiblings, 19 Dec 2020Hmmm, well obviously you haven't looked at my argument, because you never said anything a... moreTheres nothing to say about your 'argument'. Do you have anything to say about the sun rising in the east?

But you still are unable to do that, and just called it 'unfair'. Why did you not use this at the start? So it was all fair till i asked you for proof?

Imma just copy paste since it looks like you didnt read it fully "Who cares about you spitting about facts that everyone knows".

They just released one in september, a slightly modified sd855 cpu cores with a 2tflop gpu iirc. Sure, lets wait for what may possibly be a year.
Hopefully you will spit out those numbers by then, shouldnt take long since you are so knowledgable.

The proof i gave you, you just called it fake, then i told you to give proof. And then all you did was spit out some general knowledge.
Who cares about you spitting about facts that everyone knows. Its been so long you still havent given scores of 4800u for those supposed 18w where its more efficent. Or 10k at 25w.
Where is it? Still in the process of spitting out? Let me know when it comes out then.
SupaSiblings, 17 Dec 2020It is unfair, anybody with actual knowledge agrees. So getting work done is not what matters you say? They dont have much knowledge then.
So... When will it be fair for such a knowledgable wise man like you?
Mediatek sux, 17 Dec 2020You gave zero results of what i asked for.You didnt give me proof, while I'm spitting out true facts about why you shouldnt even compare them, wait for the next Qualcomm desktop and compare it to that.

Let me ask you once again, why are you bringing this up only now, after you are unable to find efficiency figures? I agree with all those stuff other than the "unfair" thing. It gets the cinebench render done. What else matters for the efficency of that particular test?
SupaSiblings, 17 Dec 2020Atleast I gave more results than you,You gave zero results of what i asked for.
Mediatek sux, 16 Dec 2020Yes i agree, but we were talking about efficiency here right? If you didnt care, why did you g... more 1. Most vendors, including Intel, AMD, NVidia, and ARM say that X86 is NOT comparable to ARM, or the other way around, because apps are usually more optimized for ARM, (except some), because ARM has a whole different instruction set and architecture, so things work differently, Infact, "Cheetah Mobile", the owner of AnTuTu ALSO agrees with this, they say Android AnTuTu isn't comparable to Apple AnTuTu, because Apple actually only uses the instruction set, instead they have a customised ARM architecture, and that there is different APIs, Also, since Apple uses PowerVR, the Metal API is more optimized for Apple's custom ARM, (I'll say CARM instead of apples custom ARM) thus graphics performance being better, 2. Linux VS Windows, MacOS is based off of Unix, which is basically Linux, Linux/Unix has alot less bloatware, so less load on CPU, so performance will be better, when you compare Unix/Linux scores versus Windows scores, Linux usually is better, due to better optimizations. 3. It matters more on stuff like how fast it can edit, and if it can edit 4k, and if its really snappy, but Safari is more optimized then Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Opera, or any windows browser, and Apple Specific apps are very optimized for Apple, making it faster, They need to be practically equal on optimization for it to be a fair comparison, Geekbench is more optimized for Apple then for X86, and Cinebench is known to be equally optimized for all CPUs, so Cinebench R23 where Intel and AMD wins in either single or multi is the real score, Test: what does RM RF do?
