In multicore, only the 4800u has similar tdp with a much higher score.

I can say the same thing and say m1 beat 4600u and even 4800u in single core. The margin is even higher than the 1165g7 and m1.

Apple does not use ARM designs, but they use certain principles present in the ARM architecture and the ISA. Apple then makes cpus that can run ARM instruction set, that is the reason why you see big difference between apple designed SoC vs Qualcomm or ARM design. Apples uses the topmost one in the pyramid in that link. It's the broadest in use case as you can do anything with it as long as you are ISA compliant. But it's also the narrowest in terms of ARM IP portfolio.

Geekbench does look very inaccurate compared to cinebench. But spec2017 has similar results like geekbench though. Maybe its because its the first cinebench version to support m1?
Your last sentence is common knowledge btw. They might not be using standard arm cores like qualcomm or huawei but the comparison is still x86 vs arm.
