                But geekbench itself says in big letters on their homepage that it is indeed a 'cross platform' benchmark.

                        There is a separate list for scores as there are different versions of GeekBench for each OS.

Wi... moreOther than improvements from die shrink are there any other improvements? The a53 and a35 are old, and a55 is now 3 years old. Mediatek even said a77 has higher efficiency at 1.8ghz or so compared to a55.

                                  As far as efficiency goes, ARM has made improvements to there A55 line of efficiency cores. With each architectural improvement and node shrink. They do have A53 and A35 efficiency cores but, there weren't fast enough to keep up with demand.
