Let's be real. The video encoder for cameras is crap on phones, and I turned away from Samsung years back, because clipping off the noise floor severely restricted dynamic range, resulting in too much black.
Which needs an option to get everything and flare mode. Not too mention, you need full camera API 2.x support and more, to take full advantage of top app features. You can buy better professional video cameras that record over 800mb/s.
Don't uses 280mb/s inter 600 intra on good cameras, which is half that in h265 inter and quarter in new h266 equiv inter. That's 70mb/s h266 inter, or 280mb/s 8k. Which is fair in good camera terms.
Samsung could be important, if they went all out as far as video cameras functionality guess, otherwise, you are paying a lot for not enough.

Now they're using identical cores, so unless they've suddenly done magic with the memory(which is usually Apple's specialty since they could spare the die area), I could only see this as a higher clocked version of the same CPU, which means proportionally higher power consumption at best, or more likely, disproportionally higher power consumption. The GPU also seems like a matter of how wide QC is willing to go, and we've seen instances where QC doesn't see the need to bump up performance that much in a generation resulting in relatively conservative gains, however since MTK is finally posing a threat, QC may be feeling like upping the ante...OTOH, Kirin is out of the game.

What a bs article, higher clock speed doesn't mean better performance, and more importantly, it could mean more battery consumption, otherwise mediatek chip sets would've been the best in the world.
