[deleted post]Different approach could mean allowing Huawei to work with TSMC for a number of years until they finally develop their own GPU like they said they would. American parts = American Jobs so I don't see the problem.

One thing Trump got right was to ban Huawei, inspite of the other possibly wrong decisions he might have taken. The 18 billion pound loss (seems inflated though) would be exacerbated if Huawei has somehow managed to bypass UK cybersecurity scrutiny and provides the information of UK citizens to the CCP.
The cons outweigh the pros and UK should stick with Ericsson.

It is not yet finished... moreHahaa for brown colored Rock Fella his actions and reactions within him are capable of setting America on fire. I doubt if British Government would changed their policy towards Huawei perhaps in few years the government may reconsider

mars3486, 17 Nov 2020Has official president election results been announced yet? Trump supporter in 2021: Wait, there are still 1000 votes to count for. It is not yet finished.

Mathematically JB won. Because the votes left to count couldn't make a difference anymore. Of course now, will be the legality of the whole counting process, if DT will decide to actually make some official complain about this.
But, I think, even DT knows deep inside that he lost. He just doesn't want people to consider him a looser. Sadly for him, if he will continue in this way for the next 2 months, he will be consider a sore looser, which is even worse.

That all depends on the US, if they don't want trade with UK there's always China.

They are not Apple, who has their own OS so their base don't have a choice. They need to be hit hard so they'll do something special again. Not to say their phones now isn't good but for what they are charging, its overrated.

Huawei: Look, the big bad orange guy is gone, can you please work with us again? Please please, with a cherry on top.
Leaving the joke aside and even though I liked Huawei phones (I had 2 phones from them in the past), I kind of like that they are not so powerful anymore. At least not in Europe. And that void left from them, have been filled by other companies (like Oppo, Realme, even Motorola, Sony or LG). And I like that.
So, instead of just one company having all the strings, now many other have emerged to fill the void.
True, this thing have made Samsung even more powerful, but Samsung time will come too. They already are doing sh**ty things and some of their fans (including me) stopped buying their phones.

Huawei should focus on mobile devices, leave it alone already, 5G is game you lost. But your mobile devices, even on 4G, are way better then Exynos competition.
