No one bothers to buy this funct... moreYour comment isn't even answering what UG4 said at all, just repeating the same stuffs over and over again. On top of that, you're completely ignoring the fact that if you're creative professionals (Especially photographer/videographer) there's higher chance that you'll find better quality apps on MacOS than on Windows.
MacOS is also great choice for programmers who are used to Linux because it's Unix-based OS, in case you have forgotten.

Did you fathom MacOS Silicon n... moreIf your MacOS is so great, then why don't game developers make native ports of games for it? Why 99% games released for Windows OS only? Two reasons - Coz MacOS sucks (it can't even run modern games properly lol) and the number of Mac users is so miniscule compared to Windows OS users that devs don't want to waste their time and money making ports for Mac. My Windows laptop allows me do everything a Mac can do and play games at 4k too.
Btw cyberpunk is gonna release soon, so wanna play multiplayer sometimes? Oh wait, it's not even releasing for Mac lmaoo. Stupid OS hahaha

I do want to try out M1-powered Macs, but the incompatibility with eGPU despite having a Thunderbolt port is a total letdown. I'll stick with older Intel-powered Macs for now.

The new Air brings i9 equivalent performance with longer battery life for a price of 1000 and that’s includes high quality screen, backlit keyboard and premium design. I hope this package will initiate a lot of Windows users into Apple ecosystem. It’s sad to see how many people perceive Windows as the best pc. This is what they were told.

This is real game changer right here and it's just a start to combine every Apple products together. Only Apple can do this. Slowly more and more people switching to Apple Macs as they are already users in Apple ecosystem, but using still PC.

still, most enterprise grade softwares that generates money for tech. people like me are mostly not supported or cannot be used in MAC (think SAP, PowerBI, some Qlik, lots more)...
only use MAC at home for netflix and as a shared station for those who have iphones.

LOL what apps? Zero support. Most people don't even know something called as MacOS.

I always thought Windows is the best until I bought my first Mac, not because I really wanted to buy a Mac but because I was angry after having spend more than 1000 for a pc that started to break even within the guarantee period. I bought a Mac with idea to use it mostly with Windows, not so much for the MacOS. But after a couple of years I realized that working on MacOS is actually better, easier, more productive. Finally ai decided to ditch Windows so go free us some memory. I hope many Windows users will get M1 Macs, now that MacBook Air is a powerhouse with the price of a mid range pc.

Did you fathom MacOS is free upgrade, while Windows 10 is paid?
Did you fathom MacOS have more quality apps and indeed more productive apps, while Windows 10 if you are not careful of the software, malware will come?
I guess not, because you have not fathom nor ever own a Mac.

I now have i9 and it’s firs... moreMy 10 years old backup PC has no problems loading Windows 10 before the screen turns on and load apps as fast as I click on them. Why? Because I set the storage up to be fast, around 1.5GB/s, which wasn't too shabby for a 4th gen Core i5.
The only reason you're seeing those "fast" loading times in that infomercial is because it has 2.5GB/s storage. That's rather slow compared to contemporary state of the art PCs. My current PC has 5GB/s storage. Too fast to make any sense in a home computer.
That is what you get with a PC, the choice and ability to get real groundbreaking benchmarks, if that is your honest real need.
