I now have i9 and it’s first PC i actually enjoy to use, it’s blazin fast, no matter what i do with it and based on what i’ve seen from these new Macs, the performance feels very same than my i9.

Well.. Actually i’m not sure if my i9 is actually this fast.. Apple will propably win because they control both software and hardware so optimization is top notch just like with iOS devices.

Mythi, 17 Nov 2020What are you smoking? He's just being real. Any Windows PC from 2012 with a Pentium Dual Core or better can run W10 without much problems. Pair it with 4gb ram and a SSD, and you are set.

All Windows laptops working perfectly fine even after 10 years.....we get updates, great spec, same performance, far better price point. No proprietary stuff. MacBooks are good if not great, but they have become super expensive and my experience with the native mail app and it's iWork office suit is nowhere near MS Office, but unfortunately Office 365 in Mac is not a great one. With M1 x86 oriented Web development may take a hit and I am not sure if compiling X86 instructions set using Rosetta 2 can be deployed in Xeno or Intel based Web Servers without proper testing. Right now people trying to consume the initial euphoria on M1 performance but sooner or later things will be known for sure. I would wait for at least two iterations before jumping in.
