How old are u?
13?
No wonder u r able to say BIG FAT BS like 'Apple invented the smartphone'....
The first 'real' smartphone in the world is IBM Simon, first released to market in '94
Simon is also the 'first' touchscreen phone.
The 'first' renown PDA (predecessor of smartphone) among many are Nokia 9000 Communicator, then Ericsson R380 which uses the first 'symbian' (EPOC) OS, and Handspring Treo 180 which uses the first PalmOS which, until now, still considered as the 'most advanced mobile OS' as it has handwriting recogntion & real multitasking (GSMArena once talking about this feature in their article).
Personally, I have tried many mobile OS in my live (java, Windows mobile, Palm, Symbian (uiq as well), Blacberry, Windows phone, Maemo, MeeGo, lastly Android).
The ONLY OS that I NEVER want to try is iOS.
Why? because THERE'S NOTHING GOOD with the OS; leading in 3rd-party app crash for years, inadeguate RAM resulting in apps keeps rebooting when multitasking, crippled Bluetooth functionatity (ever since the 1st iphone!), MUST install itunes (the worst media center) just so that u could send & transfer media files, unable to open 'unknown' file extension (earlier iphone = ipod touch + GSM modem; u could not view Word, excel, powerpoint, not even playing .ogg or .mkv files!)

Everyone here can agree that Apple is at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to innovation in the smartphone segment.

You have to be kidding me, Samsung have only the foldables going for them and xiaomi are making the same phone over and over while copying other company's technologies
The company seems to be taking a few steps backwards and wants people to believe it is the best thing to happen.
Anonymous, 19 Nov 2020My experience with Apple cables has also been bad My MPB MagSafe cable, all iPhone supplied cables get worn out in months. It will remain in condition provided you don't move the cable from the same place for ever, it will remain in good condition. If you plan to move around the cable, taking it along with other stuffs by folding it frequently, first it wl get dirty then the cover gets removed and the edges will be hanging with the plugs...
Yes it is a good thing for the environment and all but atleast they shouldn't charge such crazy money for chargers although you can go for third party options

Fayth, 19 Nov 2020why Apple is obsessed with whiteAnd yet some of their latest iPhones can't produced natural white color. Maybe when they go crazy about yellow we will see natural white on their phones.
The people who buy these things have no clue about any of what's in the article. They have no clue about 120hz vs 60hz. They have no clue about Bionic chips. All it needs to have is the correct logo on the box.

Even their iPad pro is using cheap quality materials, bends with little force.
Fayth, 19 Nov 2020why Apple is obsessed with whiteI know, black is better. So glad the Apple TV isn't white

Comparatively, cables bundled with Android phones have lasted over 2 years easily.
Buying new cables is also tedious as the quality is simply not there with them costing three times the price for an equivalent standard USB type C cable from Android.

I mean..... duh??? It's charging a watch as well, how can it be just as fast as the single MagSafe charger?!
I will buy it with an anker 30w slim. But not like we can travel any time soon so I’ll wait.
