This can only be believed by apple fanatics. Everyone knows who apple is and who facebook is, the same as google. They all harvest data, and their fight for "privacy" is a circus full of clowns that make bad jokes.

This APP and or web, acts in an arrogant way and spies to you at all times. It´s one of the few that demands your real name without being able to use a nickname, because they want to sell real data to third parties. Sometimes they insist that they must have a copy of your official ID from your country if they are in doubt as to whether your name is real, as if you were a criminal. And they convince you that even if you live in Europe, they can take that data, collect it in Ireland and then send it and sell it to the USA, bypassing all European privacy laws. For me, this is a very serious and dangerous practice of National Socialism guy.

You have to look elsewhere for alternatives, or more extreme, build your own app.

Because at least all the the apps that I'm currently using, if I don't agree their terms, they basically said "go f*ck yourself".

Everyone has to agree to those terms and conditions when installing these apps or signing up. It's just a legal loophole to do all their dirty deeds.

In the future, when the Supreme Court of US or other US tech regulators punish the US companies for doing this and direct them to delete this data, the Chinese companies would go scot-free and maintain the data reserves as THEY do not fall under the jurisdiction of the US Supreme court or the US Government.'

MrHong, 20 Nov 2020What about the Alibaba scandal in China?Which scandle? You mean forcefully withdraw of IPO of ANT Group which has no relation with Alibaba either having the same funder?

Already, the step down of Jack Ma (founder of Alibaba) was already draw speculation of the struggle power between Ma and party member within the company and the rumor the goverment itself didn't like him being too 'liberal'. The force withdraw of ANT Group IPO probably just confirm it. Obviously, he's open criticism in the interview direct to the party also come as a play. But I fail to see how it related?

                                    2. While with Jack Ma, it just shows the west what authoritarian do when they are 'unhappy'.
