I love the pink shade of the phone! It's very user friendly. Granted, it does not have GPS but apart from that, but, unless you are a very techie savvy person who needs all the features a smart phone has, this model is perfect. The price is affordable... it's light... and it's loud enough.
I find the LG KF300 simply perfect for my needs. The screen is big and bright. The sound is excellent and very important - it is loud enough. Vibration alert could be stronger but it is sufficient. Speakerphone works well but if surrounding is noisy then you may find it insuuficient. Camera takes great pix. Love the large keypad. Sms not as intuitive as the Nokia I had but a very close second. Special buttons for alarm, calendar n sms are brilliant. I've no use for the Wine button though. Sadly I cannot use this button for something else. The external display is great too. I have a Wine coloured (maroon) one as the blue one is basically black all around except for the front piece. Battery life is average. A few calls a day - lasts about 3 days with a full charge. But if I listen to songs, play games, etc, I'll have to charge it probably everyday. I disagree that this phone is only for the "older generation" - I think while it is ideal for them many younger people would fall in love with it too...esp. if they have larger fingers. The phone is v responsive. Your call is connected as you flip open the phone (before it even opens fully). This is great as with my Nokia I had to wait some half a second after flipping open the phone before I could answer the call, which was quite irritating. I give the KF300 full marks.
@tyler:
It does have an external screen, when you press a button you can see it under the front of the phone. It is an optical illusion that it is solid.
Pretty nice phone I should say... tried the CDMA version of it back in September 2007. very good quality of the display, very convenient keypad :)
wots this fone all about? i mean wots tht supposed to mean the wine generation?
that makes it out to sound like all mothers are alcoholics that need to be in rehab for their concessive drinking!
i could see a lot of these selling honestly, if only it had an external display though. tiss, tiss LG.
LOL
this is hilarious

When can this phone be bought? Is it available in Singapore?
not only the racist comment but also sexist news! i was gonna buy this for my dad
LOL, where do u c racist comment here? It's a normal thing to say "Asian market", "European market" and so on...
Comfortable phone for people with thick fingers or ppl wearing gloves. also good for elderly who cannot see well.
C'mon ppl think about all the people not just young, but old also. when u be around 60 you'll appreciate those "big, ugly" buttons.
Cheers
I LOVE MY TYTN
warning to gsm arena racist comment below!
how many pple walk thier dogs wearing gloves and try to talk? most of the LG products are sold (and designed) for Asian nations... who dont need gloves that often and have small hands compared to other races...
Love the big keys. If I'm walking my dog at winter, wearing gloves, and I get a call or a message I NEED big keys. More manufacturers should think of this instead of putting keys so small you can't even see.
looks like the sony ericssons manufactured in china for the asian market (SO series)
