The situation with Google is, they're now a necessary evil.
I use it, but only for my job purposes, and I have no choice there, because everyone is on it.

Once I go rich, I'll never have one product with Google in it. My restored 808 and me, whoever wants me can call me directly... To hell with every "account" that I've to be accountable to.

Sounds a bit like the Amazon Mechanic Turk, just now including tasks outside. Don't expect to roll in money.

TheLastOracle, 24 Nov 2020Hahaha. Good one. Also, strangely, this seems like a blatant copy of the WeOne app on the app... moreSame with Facebook. The original service was stolen and they either copy features from other companies or buy them out, the latter a more ethical option, although I preferred WhatsApp when it was paid (one off) and they didn't scan your chats for advertising opportunities.

Also, strangely, this seems like a blatant copy of the WeOne app on the app store. Google is infamous for copying all innovative apps, if they don't become very large, very soon. Then they go down, and google reproduces them as its own.

Oh hell, this is straight out of some Orwellian nightmare handbook.

And just for those who don't know, Facebook, Instagram, Amazon (all known to publicly available info) ALL have these Indian and SEA sensitive data breacher teams for moderating purposes -
- Insta submissions : for nudity acceptability reasons
- Facebook posts : some being the WORST kind posts you can imagine
- Amazon : Alexa...the worst of the lot perhaps based on how often and how carelessly they handle all private audio and video recordings for the sake of "analytics"
Apple : Smaller known instances of contractors snooping into your private Siri recordings, but it's still happening

And know what? Almost All contractors can snapshot or "take their work home". Your privacy, just shredded so damn easily.

And google obviously does all that and much more, BUT now they are openly handing out this sort of data for less than the cost of peanuts to overseas "workers"? Move aside Uber...there's a new "jig worker" abuser in town. How rotten has this company become?

The privacy scandals and data theft have gone out of proportions.
So they are openly creating A system where users give them all that data with their full consent. No wonder they dropped the "Don't be Evil" company tag line.
