"$19,2 for the storage". But for which capacity? The Pro has twice the storage of the non-Pro, so the cost cannot be the same and should be about twice as high.
[deleted post]I agree, Worst ecosystem of 2020: iOS and MacOS.
Most overrated flagship of the year: Galaxy S20 ultra.
Most "Meh" flagship of the year: iPhone 12 pro Max.
domraym, 26 Nov 2020WOW the reality distortion field is strong with this one. So android manufacturers really care... moreNobody cares about latest updates on Android.
The 5 year update system of iOS is a giant scam. You get latest features 5 years late on an average. Android is light years ahead of iOS in terms of functionality, customizability, security and ease of use. Android from 5 years back can do things current iPhone can't.
iOS 14 finally got an app drawer and widgets, Lol these are things that existed on Android a decade back.
Plus with every subsequent update, your battery and cpu are deliberately slowed down by Apple (Yes, they are paying fines for this malpractice) whereby one is forced to upgrade after a few years.
Android--Master, 25 Nov 2020Other companies care about their users, Apple only cares about profit. WOW the reality distortion field is strong with this one. So android manufacturers really care about customers by having shorter upgrade cycles? poorer qc? poorer customer support? I understand the bias but you are ridiculous.
[deleted post]Huawei Mediapad 2018 also costs similar to iPad Pro, also bends like iPad Pro.
If you can show me a video where Tab S7 is durability tested then your argument is valid.

CCE, 25 Nov 2020Who's buying iPhone now these days?where were u live? Antarctica ?
Android--Master, 25 Nov 2020Other companies care about their users, Apple only cares about profit. Companies exist to make money. The only reason they make users happy is because they want their money long-term. And even then they always balance what is the least we can give in order to make the most.
CCE, 25 Nov 2020Who's buying iPhone now these days?Well, most who want something more from their phone and not just buying cheapest option available. Last q Apple alone sold 58% of all over $400 phones and this was already before iPhone 12. So now the number is propably over 60% and even more.
Will help if we could get the bill of materials for other devices for comparison sake
Android--Master, 25 Nov 2020Other companies care about their users, Apple only cares about profit. No company care about users. Every company care about profit. The same way every celebrity doesn't care about its fans but care about numbers and money. But fans will love/worship him/her. And people will buy new devices again and again.
Who's buying iPhone now these days?
L, 25 Nov 2020Okay listen up. They need to keep their posh offices running. Which involves a cost. They spe... moreR&D costs have been covered with the X sells, there is no significant development from that phone 'till this one, unless if adding a magnet to the back of the phone needs "r&d". The introduction of smart hdr with the Xs was the only significant development in the iphone line up since 2017. Though I'm not saying that android phones aren't overpriced too.
Android--Master, 25 Nov 2020Other companies care about their users, Apple only cares about profit. And who might those companies be? It certainly isn't a technology company. I would guarantee you the "ultra" Samsung phones aren't much more, especially with them making quite a few components in-house. They also wouldn't have to worry about shipping those components.
The additional things that are left out of cost that we can't know are shipping, R&D, and the engineering that goes into the OS, etc. None of those things are free, or cheap.
Any idea about the International version's cost?
Bcz International version lacks the mmWave hardware. So I feel the X55 should be costing less than $90...
Haha, 90$ for almost useless 5g modem and garbage 60hz display costs the most lol... Then again apple has paid subscription services and they get even more money from them, while they should be reducing phones prices instead and have profit from services, but no, they want all the money from sales + the money from subscriptions.
