The already paralysed Indian economy (even before pandemic) won't even get time to take in its last breath if India would lose their third most important trading partner.
Though the Hindu nationalists are busy selling hatred against China, I doubt if they even know that India's exports to China grew by 26% this year.
I'm just waiting for China to reply to India in the very same way. It would be too much fun.

If we directly ban then the companies would just import products manufactured in other countries. But by these restrictions see now what Apple is doing. They are setting up manufacturing plants in India. And not just for one line of their product. Slowly because of these increasing restrictions they will have to set up manufacturing units for all their product lines.
