Qualcomm being complacent in the midrange is over as competition is too much for them
The 775 will still face serious pressure from the next dimensity 820 successor
Midrange chips are of the greatest value currently

Plenty of cheap ones under 500 USD.
Or just wait for these Snapdragon 875 based flagships to get that huge jump in performance over others.
Don't bother with iOS, it's not an attractive purchase in 2020 and full of sacrifices and compromises.

Meaningless numbers
Gsmarena, you said that Snapdragon 865+ caps around 600k mark in your testing.
But my Wife's Mi 10 ultra with Snapdragon 865 reaches around 650k and IQOO pro also reaches around 660k as per results online.
