pralea, 03 Dec 2020oh, but you are so wrong. It is samsung who copied moto, the atrix had this feature back in 2011Stop using the word "copy". It's a technology pioneered by Motorola, and others in the industry eventually implement similar features too. If you call it a copy then technically EVERYTHING in the smartphone game is a "copy" from older models.

Now that's what we're talking about!!!
Hope this comes with the SD-800 equipped 5G Moto G next year.
I wonder why this feature isn't mainstream by now... OnePlus & others should learn from this.
The only things Moto needs now are: Consistent updates and Build quality, besides NFC, DLNA & IR blaster.

Dorsefrith, 03 Dec 2020@OnePlus - watch and learn and give us Desktop mode!I have not tried myself but I read that Android 10 has a native desktop mode and OnePlus phones support usb alt mode...
There are also a few apps that create a desktop like interface.

About time! Now the use of NexDock Touch can be spread even further.

Guys, anyone of you saying that Motorola is copying Microsoft Continuum, Samsung DeX or Huawei Desktop Mode, please at least read the first paragraph before accusing Moto copying them, they are the pioneer of inventing this technology. Which go back to 2011 with their Motorola Atrix.

Also w10 isn't the worst platform to compete with.

If this were the same Motorola from that time, I would had great hopes for this.

But this is Lenovo we are talking about. At much, expect some broken full-featured stuff or a simple do-nothing implementation, no in-betweens.

Nice. Now give us two major Android updates for the mid-range and three for the Motorola flagships. One update is a bad joke.
