A surprisingly feature rich chip.
there is no successor to the 765 series?
Anonymous, 02 Dec 2020Lol even Apple A14 already beaten by Snapdragon 865+ Antutu Snapdragon 865+ Cpu 182893 ... moreAntutu is not cross platform comparable. It's even in their own FAQ. Lol. Google "antutu cross platform" and it's the first result.
Is it compatible with removable batteries? My next smartphones has to have a removable battery!!!
Anonymous, 02 Dec 2020Exynos 2100, snapdragon 888 and and kirin 9000 still not in par with A13 even lol.And another narrow minded comment, iOS clearly has benefits of its own, in practical every day use iPhones feel every bit as fluid as flagship androids fitted with snapdragons flagships SoCs...but iOS has less requirements in term of outright CPU performance, part of that fluidity from iPhone is the very fact that iOS is built round the A13/14 and so on...
Qualcomm especially have to go all out for many different companies with different requirements, the industry pressure is also for qualcomm to be the fastest...
I personally have both an iOS and Android device...iPhone 11 Pro running the A13 and a Samsung Galaxy Tab running the SD855+, both work brilliantly irregardless of benchmark numbers....why not focus on the day to day of the devices these CPUSs will be used in....
Spanky, 02 Dec 2020This is all awesome, but what about the Snapdragon 775 (or is it 777?)?Tomorrow maybe 🤔

My OnePlus 7 is a year and 2 months old and no problem so far, just regretting buying a phone with only one useful camera 🤦🏾♂️
Great performance, waiting for Oxygen OS 11 update.

Anonymous, 02 Dec 2020you are wrong. it is 2020 for 2020 phonesQualcomm and apple never release soc at same time, people looking to upgrade look at the next model anyway. Theres less of a gap between a14 and 888 than there is between a14 and 865 release dates. Lets hope your brain understands it this time.
Anonymous, 02 Dec 2020keep dreaming lol. Many android flagships can beat any iPhone easily. Get out from cave and open your eyes.

Not really. I've been using a Mi 9 for more than a year now and the SD855 still blast through anything. Nothing broke so far, all working fine. The only thing that bothers me is that I feel like I want to buy Xiaomi again, considering if I want to upgrade in the future. Their flagships are cheap, reliable, and quite a beast compared to other brand.
